How is it that the world scrutinzed the US over handling of the Abu Grahib incident yet refuses to condemn Iran for a much more grevious incident with the British marines.
Democrats called for Rumsfeld's head when he did not authorize or approve of the actions of a few rogue(since then convicted) American soldiers yet the democrats are strangely silent on the behavior of Iran. The president of Iran was directly involved with the situation in which these marines were tortured, led to believe they were being executed, stripped, bound, etc.....

All of this was done illegally by the Iranian government.

Could it be that Pelosi was too busy courting the Syrians(our national enemy) to worry about our own allies in harm's way.

What a disgraceful bunch of self serving demoncats congressmen we have. They care more for our enemies than our own country and our own allies.

Pelosi should be tried for treason for making backroom deals with our enemy. Culture of corruption?

He would be sectioned by his behaviour if he was in Britain. He clearly is a danger to himself and all around him. The statements he comes out with make's no sense, he clearly doesnt know the difference between whats real and whats not . His latest statement about the sailors press conference been put up is laughable yet he is so serious when he say's it. And he wonders why there is grave concern about him getting his hands on nuclear capabilities !!! Surely the people of Iran should call for the hospitalisation of this man at once :)

He said he would go back to England talking praise of the Iranians and try to enlighten all of the people in England who are so ignorant about Iran. Is this a case of Stockholm syndrome or what? I hope he is disciplined by the English military.

I find it funny that people are experts on the war....when they have never been to the country or served the war? How can you truly know what is going on when you have not been there? I have served in the war and it really amazes me that people really think they know what they are talking about. Is name calling really need ...when you don't agree with another person opinion?

What really has been acheived by eliminating Sadam? Is Iraq and the world a better place now? Have any countries learnt any lessons?
I am optimistic and feel there may be minor battles for show of power between countries but the human race can not afford another world war and there wont be one. (No thanks to UNO on this front - I don't mean to take anything away from the great relief work it is doing in many under developed countries but it really has not solved any international political problems) But if there happens to be a world war soon (Bush in my opinion is spoiling for one) and (in the unlikely scenario) if USA loses will then Bush be called another Hitler or worse?

I usually don't believe tabloid gossip, but I recently saw the cover of one that said The Prez and the First lady are headed for a split. As a former 10yr resident of Washington DC, this is not the first time I've heard this rumor. A very reliable source, even heard one of the Bush Twins complain about her parents marriage, hoping for a divorce herself. If this were true, how would it make you feel about his presdency and him as a person?

What are so many people opposed to the war in Iraq?
Those who are against the war are either saying or implying that:
War is not the answer...
Then what is? I have yet to hear ANYONE who claims that war is not the answer come up with an alternative. Don't misunderstand me. I wholeheartedly agree that it would be so very nice indeed if the world would just learn to get along. Come now, let's all put our guns down and be friends. I forgive you. Would you please forgive me? Peace brother, peace.
Right. Although I HATE war just as much as you, truth is, terrorists are continually seeking out ways to kill as many innocent lives as they can, and it has NOTHING to do with Bush's decision to fight terrorism. Think of Kuwait. Or Oklahoma. Terrorists are heartless ruthless people who kill because they've been brainwashed into believing that "God" approves of this. How can you convince someone to remove his suicide vest in such a circumstance? What's a Bush to do? Seriously. Please respond.

How can people call themselves americans when
A- they dont support their fellow americans that would rahter die for their country than be killed by terroists
B- Hate the man running thier country. He is your president. It is not your job to hate him, but to support him. Stop following bias media and grow yur own opinions
C- Criticize others for their race, religion, or what have you when America was founded on "Every man should be created equal"

^^just to name a few
An american is not someone from American. A true american is someone who takes a part of their country and believes in their country.
