Mr. Al Gore has made it a personal crusade to fight against Global Warming. He blames CO2.
I don't. I think he is being an asshole in his approach.
Scientific Evidence is not strong for CO2 as a cause for global warming. Fact is: WE DON'T KNOW WHAT CAUSES GLOBAL WARMING.
What do others think?

In an interview with Reuters, Stein cited a passage from the book that said it was imperative for Arabs and Palestinians to "make it clear that they will end the suicide bombings and other acts of terrorism when international laws and the ultimate goals of the Roadmap for peace are accepted by Israel." Open your eyes Mr. Stein, Mr. Carter is 82 he has a lot of wholesome wisdom under his belt, for you to misinterpret this statement is outrageous. Israel is the deciding factor here in this war with the Palestinian people. Share and share alike is what's happening, Israel is raging war against the Palestinian's simply because they want to be the ruler of the country and Palestinian's are saying over my dead body will I let this happen, the Palestinian had to give up their land to those who chose to settle in Israel because of England and France. During the war they had to find a place of settlement for those who had suffered during the Holocaust and they chose to give them Israel.

YES! to France, way to go, I'm so very proud of French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie, she's undertaken the task to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan and Canada should be doing the same.

The Korean "Conflict" ended in a draw at best, since Korea is still split in half. Some people would regard that as a loss because half is communist. Vietnam was a clear loss--we got our butts kicked.
Don't tell me the Cold War. that was a stalemate for the most part. The Soviet Union and Eastern Europe imploded upon itself and more due to internal forces and people like Lech Walesa and the influence of the Pope. Last time I looked, Red China, North Korea and Vietnam were all still communist.

First Gulf War? Yeah, we moved that third world country back out of Kuwait but Saddam was still ruler for 10+ years after, and we may have suffered the 911 attacks partly because of our involvement in the Mideast and the hatred we engendered. And now? We are locked in a hopeless stalemate with fanatics that will never give up, and are really just creating more terrorism for ourselves. So by my count, World War II was the last real war we won. That's not a good record.

It is insipid that free speech is being used to undermine our society by liars and traitors.

Should the Durham DA be charged with malicious prosecution, the accuser with filing a false charge and what will be done to repair the shattered lives of those students. I hope they are able to file civil charges against the DA as well. Finally, what about all the activists who have poisoned the once friendly and peaceful atmosphere in Durham? I wonder if we will hear any apologies from Jackson and Sharpton when this is all over? I am guessing no. PS. I once lived in Durham and prior to this case, there was very good racial harmony which has also been shattered.

The problem in Iraq has now reached such an intractible level that the whole of US (iovernment, media, think tank and free speechers) are scratching their heads with no agreeable solution to talk about. The violence has reached unimaginable level and no one knows what would be the best way out. We are in a catch 22 situation. If we leave, then it has every likelihood of erupting further with neighboring countries becoming more involved with arms and money to either side. If we dont leave, then the anger and frustration among the Iraqis continue to boil further. But my point is the situation seems so similar to what is happening in places like Sudan, Somalia and some parts of Africa where the neighboring countries get involveds for their own interest to make the matter worse. Its seems to be becoming a problem with no end in sight.
Do you agree to this analogy?

The result of all that is ofcourse mass killing, ethnic cleansing, sectarian violence, refugee problem and even Genocide

Normally with such a high-profile case the police are pretty speedy on catching the guilty man.. but this one is proving very elusive so far.

You would think there would be a fair few people with information on him? The local police are surely putting the majority of their efforts into this.

There has been lots of media coverage but i get the feeling the public don't seem to care quite as much because the were prostitutes.

If you look at the photo of the first one killed Gemma Adams she looks such a sweet girl and if it was reported she worked in Tescos i think things would be very diffrent.

I'm sure there would be a much bigger public outcry on this if it was just 5 normal women.

I can't imagine what women in that area are feeling right now, could could be making yourself a target when doing something as simple as standing on a corner trying to catch a taxi after a club.

I want everyone to visit this website and read the story:
http://www.invisiblechildren.com/home.php
I watched the movie, and it really is life changing. Check the website and try to donate to help young children in Uganda, Africa, who are being kidnapped and brainwashed into fighting for rebels, if they refuse to fight they are killed.
Everyday they live in fear.
