With no end in sight our leaders choose not to take any corrective action. Even conservative polls show the majority of Americans do not support the war in a nation that is supposed to be a democracy where the govt serves at the behest of the people. Worst of all our govt. refuses to engage in diplomacy with those they call enemies. As if they imagine you can only call a cease fire or treaty with people who aren't fighting you. I have no faith that the next president in two years will be any different from the bourgeois white man that is there now. So, what do we do? Just had to throw it out there.

I'm writing an essay for school and I'm going against that illegal immigrants should not bee aloowed into a country. What I don't understand is that many people have been saying that illegal immigrants do not pay taxes? Is that true? and also I just want to know why illegal immigrants are a bad thing? I mean do not help out the economy and erase the jobs that we don't want to work in. Thanks

If so, are you going to join in the class action lawsuits against ebay and bargainland?

I was contacted by another ebay person who is gathering people for this purpose. the email is buzzbbird@hotmail.com for more info.

Don't you think that ebay should take some responsibility for a 'business' that has scammed over 20 thousand people?

Do you think that a business like that (bargainland) should not be allowed to hide its owners behind a corporate shield for they are the ones who make the decisions that the 'company' implements?

let me know and contact that guy so these crooks can get stopped once and for all.

For example, kids graduating high school these days have no training in how their credit rating works, how to get a mortgage, how to invest. They don't know how to advance their careers, how to hold a marriage together, how to raise children.

Thinking about the recent cover story in Time magazine, they don't know how to assess risk in the modern world. Judging by the popularity of some conspiracy theories, they haven't learned to think carefully about events in the news.

Our educational curriculum was designed in the 19th century and hasn't changed much since. Back then, young adults didn't have as many choices, they had more support from family and community, and were less likely, for example, to move a few thousand miles from where they grew up.

What kinds of classes would you suggest to bring our education system into the 21st century?

a) during the time Bill Clinton was in power (1993 - 2001), 1,000,000 people died in Iraq during UN sanctions. That's 125,000 per year.

b) during the present war in Iraq (2003 - present day), 100,000 people have died. That's about 25,000 per year or about 80% less than before.

Why do you guys insist on claiming that Bush is killing people in Iraq when he is obviously saving lives?

We know the War in Iraq was a mistake-Iran is happy that Hussein is gone(all the big fuss about talking to Iran-it was reported that we talked to Iran prior to invading Iraq to get informal assurances that they wouldn't interfere-they didn't interfere with the intial invasion)-it has cost us about 3,000 of our best men and women-400 billion $$$$-Bin Laden is still loose-we dropped the ball on Afghanastan-it is getting worse-soilders are getting prosecuted for killing Iraqi civilians-well ya know we are not fighting people in uniform anymore-the Sadr Militia is being allowed to exist-remember they hate us?? I think Bush should apolgize and step down.

homeland security announced yesterday 12-15-06 that they will be watching rail shipments more closely than they previously have
beenand that CHEMICAL rail shipments will not be allowed to sit
in any rail yards for to very long.i live right across from one of the
largest yards in the country in indiana and have always thought
how easy it would be to compromise these trains.children inthis
area use shortcuts through these tracks, the hobos reside near
them, there are no fences and security has always been at issue.
i myself used to mushroom hunt along these tracks until i was
spotted by rail security, questioned and then politely told to
leave.before i left i told security they need to install fences
if they want to keep threats out.this area is very vulnralable, and as
far as i know it still is.the government always has said their would be another terrorist incident so could this be the next 9/11

Iraq is invaded in order to free the citizens from the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein. But things got worst that Saddams regime even worst than ever. Invasion army cannot control even baghdad alone. Before the invasion all Iraqi people are living in their houses, but now they are living in camps indifinitely. Iraqi children are not going to school, have no food, pleasure and whatever a child need at a stage of childhood. How can a child living in camp, whose house, school, and joy was brutally destroyed feel against those who causes all these to him. Some high percentage of Iraqi children are fatherless. No electricity, no security, no peace, no water, no transportation, no rest, no healthcare facilities, no job, no, no, no, no.................. Is that the freedom bush have been talking about? IT CAN'T BE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Few days back ur Foreign office spokesperson Ms. Tasnim Aslam declared that "Pakistan never claimed Kashmir as her integral part"

My question is “”How it can be a disputed when you doesn’t claim that part as your integral part?“”

Why the hell u are fighting with India from last 60 years on Kashmir when you think it’s not your integral part?
Why you all the time blame India on this issue?
Why you attacked 3 times on India and imposed 3 wars on her?
If this is not their integral part then why they are keeping their army in Azad Kashmir and holding illegal occupation over there?
Why doesn’t you just delete the word “K” from Pakistan as the word “K” denotes Kashmir in your country’s name?

Please answer with reasoning, if you don’t have any valid points then don’t answer to increase your 2 points.

Let's imagine that the Artic snowcaps and nearly every glacier on Earth, are proven to be melting due to the Earth's natural cycle, and is not our fault. Would that make it OK for all of us to drive gi-normous gas guzzlers?

David Hicks is a young Australian who has been kept in solitary confinemnt for 5 years (with the lights on 24hours a day) by the USA. He has not been charged. I do not believe anything he did was (at the time) agains the law. So the USA have now changed the law so they can charge him. David was taken capture in Afganistan like many young men from around the world he thought he was "doing the right thing". Since his capture all British prisoners have been sent home. Why not David? Is it because the UK PM is Bushes "yes man" or is it that the Australian governement has made no effort to do what they are supposed to do....ensure its citizens human rights. At the end of WW1 & 2 prisoners where sent home except the "big boys" who where charged stood trial etc. Not David Hicks it is against international law to hold a man for 5 years without charge then deliberatly change the law so they can now charge him. That is like us using this site. 5 years time a law is passed and we are all charged!

You can google it which leaves me confused. When you watch footage... it's looks like a missle hit the pentagon. Evidence is so obvious. So what;s the deal with no real big recognition of who these "heroes" are. Most look like military employees who could have "crucified" themselves for our country. So, someone help me with this confusion. Thanks!
