Should the Durham DA be charged with malicious prosecution, the accuser with filing a false charge and what will be done to repair the shattered lives of those students. I hope they are able to file civil charges against the DA as well. Finally, what about all the activists who have poisoned the once friendly and peaceful atmosphere in Durham? I wonder if we will hear any apologies from Jackson and Sharpton when this is all over? I am guessing no. PS. I once lived in Durham and prior to this case, there was very good racial harmony which has also been shattered.

I think Nifong should be tossed out of office and the girl, the media and Nifong should be charged and sued. Sharpton & Jackson also the New Black Panther group should be giving public apologies to the players and Durham but we won't see that happen but let a comedidan say something racial and feel the wrath of the black population is that a double standard.

It's a situation that the community wanted to be true, rich, white kids raping a poor, black working girl. It's good for the front page of the morning newspaper. It's a good lead story to the 6 o'clock news. And, it can get a District Attorney re-elected.

Now, it is discovered that the multiple DNA profiles obtained from the "victim's" rape kit, not one matched any of the accused lacrosse players.

Sounds like there is a better story that needs to be developed, i.e. how will DA Nifong look in prison stripes?

I do indeed feel sorry for them. It was pretty obvious from the beginning that the whole case was built on pretty flimsy evidence and that the DA had an agenda. However, I do have to make the caveat that when a bunch of college boys hire strippers, they are asking for trouble...you are not exactly associating with the upper echelons of society.

I can't say that I feel sorry for them. They got what they asked for by inviting two less than honest strippers to a party in their house.
They just lucked out that evidence is pointing to the strippers as lying.

And anytime you have racial factors involved in a crime, people want someone they can blame the crime on. So police must act quickly to get a scapegoat(s).

Yes; it's not right when they have to spend money to defend themselves, lose time in school, lose their team and have a pall of guilt cast over the whole team.

He should be charged and jailed, as for the 3 boys, if I were in their shoes I would sue him for millions.

Nifong is the biggest, horse's .. you know what... in the country today. Arrogant, ignorant, egotistical. Just another two-dollar whore with a JD.
