I think that the elections might start a civil war...I don't know how good those elections will be seeing that most Palestinians see in Abbas actions a illegal way to overthrow the Hamas government...Unfortunately,this is good for Israel ,so no one does a single thing to stop it...World's attitude towards the choice of Palestinians lead to this...

It seems that matters are headed that way, even though i doubt that Palestinians will fall into an "all-out" civil war. The rivarly between Fatah and Hamas is deep.
Tensions might increase alot in the lead up to the elections and I'm sure that there will be violence. I just hope that they will not let this violence spiral out of control, because it might do so. Both Fatah and Hamas do not want to share power with each other. Power sharing is not a familiar notion in the Arab world, people are not used to that. Everyone just grabs power for themselves. We'll have to see. They have been trying to reach a deal about a national unity government for months and have yet to succeed.
To answer the second part of your question, no, i do not think that the elections will lead to more calm, i think the opposite will happen.
But what i fear most is the aftermath of the elections. How will the loser react? If Hamas wins the majority again, will Fatah supporters take this? What will the president do?
If on the other hand, Fatah is able to win back the parliament, what will Hamas do? Will they simply give back the government? I doubt Hamas will do that and they will scream that the elections were rigged.
I think this will be the worst scenario; A Fatah election victory, followed by Hamas refusal to recognize its defeat.

No, I do not think so. And I ask god not to make it happen in my beloved country (Palestine). We have always seen clashes like these before. At least, I can say thank God we have only some clashes here, I'm sure if this happens in another country there will be a devastating civil war.

One of the most prominent causes of these clashes in Palestine is the world's attitude to the Palestinians choice. "Hunger is cruel" a proverb we use it here.

Palestinians don't seem content if they haven't shot at somebody in the past few days. At Fatah if you're Hamas, and vice versa.
