YES! to France, way to go, I'm so very proud of French Defense Minister Michele Alliot-Marie, she's undertaken the task to withdraw their troops from Afghanistan and Canada should be doing the same.

Was just talking to a colleague about the same thing. To withdraw Canadian troops at this time might very well condemn the Afghanis to civil war or re-installation of the Taliban regime.

We can't win 'the peace' or gain stability for the country by taking it to the 'enemy' Taliban or Al Qaida. Our real problem is that we spend 10 times the amount of funds on fighting than on diplomacy and rebuilding. We should continue funding the military side but tremendously increase other funds so that the country can stand on their own two feet.

probable Poland or South Korea. no longer particular. yet in the adventure that they do withdraw their troops, right it is kudos to the courageous Canadian troops for struggling with the international conflict on terror. (i'm no fan of Canada as a subculture, yet no matter if it develop into in effortless words 2000, it is 2000 human beings that risked their lifestyles. again, kudos to those troops.)
