I don't understand why people are asking questions of whether or not we should hang Bush or should he be given the death penalty. The same people that are asking are the same ones who are feeling sorry for Sadam and lamenting his death. What sense does this make? You will say that death is wrong in one arena but right in another? Our country is turning on itself, this is scary!

We all understand that Justice needed to be dished out! But i cannot help but think, that this now is the start of a new waqve of violence to the Western world! It will be a new chapter in the fate of Iraq and the Middle east!

Ok the tragedy is saddam was responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths!

But what now of Bush and Blairs crusade for regime change!

These two guys have ?Legally? killed 100's of thousands themselves!

So what of there fate?"

Maybe Assasination? Maybe a life of worry about assasination!

While we ponder, where the next bomb goes off!

Sheesh! Thanks Mr Bush, Mr Blair!

We have shown the rest of the world how we support a brutal death!

No matter what anybody says! Saddam will now become a Martyr! When Bush and Blair are no better!

What are your feelings Answers folk?

PEACE! Peace!

Granted, the USA was out to get Saddam because they felt "national security" was at threat by Iraqs "Ghost Nuclear Weapons of mass destruction".

If so, why did they not apologise and reinstate him when they were wrong?
They bleat on about his war-crimes now, but we all know that the US has killed more people the world over than anyone else without their leaders getting executed... what makes Saddam any different?

Ok i was told George & Tony set about Saddam b4 his death, reports say Tony Blair said to Saddam "Yeah your not so tough now beardy" then Tony swung a left hook and broke Saddam's jaw, George was said to have then had him in a headlock and then Tony shouting "ill show you nuclear weapons" b4 pulling down his £55 Marks & Spencers black trousers, Reports also suggest George had a Mach 3 turbo Razor while saying " Im gonna shave that wig on your chin!, They were then seen leaving the seen to attend a hearing.

is this true im confused?

I'm sorry, but I can't buy it yet. We know what he is capable of, could this be a ploy to go back into hiding with noone looking for him????

It took me by surprise that yesterday was the last day of his life, and I am a little shocked that everything occurred so fast, and in IRAQ people still use execution to penalize. I end up having pity on that guy even though he was evil and deserved punishment, but I don't agree with that form of execution.

Bush, who called Saddam a threat even though alleged nuclear and other weapons were never found, said: "Bringing Saddam Hussein to justice will not end the violence in Iraq, but it is an important milestone on Iraq's course to becoming a democracy that can govern, sustain, and defend itself."
