No... I think it is totally unjust that Saddam was punished by capital punishment.
I think the man should have been left to rot in prison, contemplating & reflecting on his evil ways - he is now gone & if anything it will cause a major & regretful backlash from his mass following in his home country & thtoughout the rest of the Islamic States.
I have never had any respects for the 2 B's & now that is turning into resentment.. as it means these two anti-christs can target anyone & deem them Dictators.
God Bless America ? boy they are going to need it !!!!!!!!!

It appears your question is not . Do I have more respect for Blair and Bush but that of the means Saddam did not anticipate for His last day among the people. The act of hanging is a brutality according to His compassion upon the peoples of his homeland I think it fair. The brutality by which he treated his brothers and sisters of all age is balanced accordingly and equal.

Sorry but it was not the Americans or the British who made the judgement.... as it is not the Americans or the British that decide on the death penalty or other punishments in other countries...Yes he was held by the Americans but the justice was meted out by HIS peers... If he had been tried in this Country he would have been given a Life sentence, ALL of the questions geared towards the abomination of the trial, the sentence, Saddam....all seem to have forgotton the atrocities this mans regime committed on his own people...Thousands have died and have been tortured in his name... What do people imagine was burning to create those huge black clouds that obscured large areas of iraq during the US assault to capture Saddam.. is it any wonder there were no WMD's found...
The problem is now to settle the warring factions and stop the insurgents that keep slaughtering the innocents...IN the name of Saddam????

finding at a number of the previous solutions jogs my memory that people who shout loudest have the least to declare and the main to conceal. The Iraqis that Saddam killed have been many times killed with the conivance and appoval of england and usa, no longer that Britain has had an self sustaining voice for years, and we killed many with the sanctions we imposed on Iraq, which the politicians knew and in all risk was hoping would be the case, so as that they'd portray what have been their murderous tyrant as now an self sustaining murderous tyrant. attempt finding in the back of the headlines, a number of you.

How is the hanging of Saddam Hussein relevent to Bush and Blair? It is a seperate country with its own laws that he was convicted and hung under. It has no bearing whatsoever on anything in the US or UK. Did you maybe want them to march in with troops and refuse to allow what Iraqi law decided? Get real and learn something about reality.

not really. they're not part of the picture. america and britain didnt do anything with regards to saddam's hanging. so technically they dont deserve to lose or gain respect. i hail the iraqi government with the steps they have taken to ensure that saddam is punished. i would just like to remind everyone that it was not the current government that made these laws that would force them to kill saddam it was saddam's regime that put into place the practice of execution. whether or not it is justifiable isnt a question here. its just a matter of following the law. its only fair. its justice.

Ya know people sit in judgement of one man, but I feel Saddam should have died a long time ago....and as far as Bush...he's our president and altho you may not agree with his decisions..it wasn't just him who authorized this war....A president is only allowed to issue a pre emptive strike after an attack here....the rest is up to congress...and that was more than republicans....you should be ashamed....This is our country ....If ya don't support him vote next time for changes.....but don't be so brutal yourselves!

Hanging Saddam won't make Bush or Blair better politicians. In fact, now they know they can execute one dictator, who else's blood are they gonna be after?

No because George W doesn't deserve anyones respect with the way we are still at war over in Iraq and Tony Blair acts like he is afraid of the United States and can't make his own decisions.

I would have a lot more respect for Blair,
If he held a referendum here in Britain on the reinstatement of Capital punishment.
For some reason people in power do not want to carry out the wishes and wants of the electorate.
