It seems there are a disproportionate number of non-blacks being attacked by sharks in U.S. waters.. The majority of victims that are depicted on television are blond hair, blue-eyed whites.. Is this some sort of double-reverse discrimination on the part of the aquatic life?

Are the sharks jewish and they're taking out their outrage of the holocaust on innocent civilians?

i think its a great idea.
its people like that who make you sit back and think "actually, where has all the kindness and gratitude of the world gone?"
i know it caused a couple of riots, but the consept of throwing money into the air and just giving it to people is really nice, i think.

i'd be interested to hear your views though...

Something cool that Xerox is doing
If you go to this web site www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it and it will be sent to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq . You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services.
How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!!
This is a great site.
Please send a card.
It is FREE and it only takes a second.

I am asking why people think the reaction to Michael Richard's tirade is so much more mild than it was for Mel Gibson. Especially when Gibson was Drunk and Richards was not. This is not an avenue for racist bashing, just want to hear your thoughts on this from a sociological and intellectual standpoint.

By what stretch of the imagination could this be true? I don't know how everyone remembers the incedint but if I remember correctly, Israel was successfully invading Lebanon and destroying key infrastructure when the U.N. came between the two and stopped the fighting. The Lebanese lobbed missles at Israel, but never invaded or came anywhere close to forcing an Israeli surrender.

Why are there people out there trying to say that Lebanon won the war and that it's a huge blow to Israel? I'm not condoning the war in general, I just fail to see how or why people would spin the event as a Lebanese victory.

What are your thoughts?

Does Environment Minister David Miliband no what he is talking about or any other ministers come to that when it comes to globale warming, how is putting up prices of fuel going to stop the increasing use of fuel. (it wont this is just another backdoor taxation rip off).
Should not goverments and nations be doing more to find allternitive energe sourses (yes they should be but are doing sod all about it ) they just try to blame us the consumer and seem to forget that it is there policy that have brought us to this dilemmar.
there are many allternitive solutions out there if only some one will take the first steps and get on with it, instead of ordering another enquire to look into the problem.(which never achieves any thing).
(example the diesal engine when first invented was designed to run on penut oil so why do they not do more to promote this.)
it all comes down to how much brown can get out of us for there politacal needs they don't give a toss about us really.

I've been his fan since his photo released in newspapers. Today I heard that he's wife-beater (in TV)... found it shocking. Coz, taking drugs may not be a guilt, it's an illness first of all, but beating his wife ... it's unbearble, what do u think ?

It appears that country after country after country is now identifying George Walker Bush as the devil.

Could it be that he is actually the AntiChrist that the Bible warned Christians about?

Is the number to his name 666?

Women and children are being sold on a global market and I don't see anyone invading Turkey or Thialand to stop it.

Are we so worried about animal rights and anti war protests we don't give a damn about humans? Isn't it time we cared more about international slaves than oil and rats?

I did a quick search and found this link:

After years of an all volunteer military, and the sucessfull prosecution of a war in the gulf with an all volunteer military, the new chairman of the house "ways and means" committee has promised to author a bill to return a draft. Is this a good thing?

My belief is that an all volunteer military will be stronger and more motivated since those serving want to serve. Additionally, a draft will load the military with those individuals that cannot afford or gain college admitance, and avoid the draft. Thus the lower economic classes will be again over represented, while the upper classes will avoid the military due to the stigma that a draft brings.

Please state whether you have ever served in the military or not in your answer.

anyone else agree that the draft is the most messed up thing ever? People ages 18-26 don't exactly make up a huge portion of the nation. How dare a bunch of 60 year olds decide i get to go fight in a war i don't even believe in. I am talking about this now due to that idiotic democrat from NY who thinks it'll "do our young people good". That's bull++it. The fact of the matter is, there should be no war period, but there always will be due to morons, but do people really think an army made of up of kids forced to fight is right? it's not at all, i'll say this right now, there is no way someone is ever going to force me to kill someone or fight in a war i don't think we should be fighting.
