Yeah, but they don't. Politics is politics. People can dislike bush, but still support him because of policy. They have no other choice. You know, George Bush isn't the only leader in the world that is doing bad things.

A lot of people around the world don't like America or Americans.
Some countries hate Bush just because they see he has been a detriment to world peace.

It certainly seems that he is very unpopular. However, while most of the people I know do not like him much of this impression may simply be due to an uneven reporting by the media.

you need to stop believing everything you hear from the close-minded part of the media. we recently had an assembly at our high school where veterans of Iraq told us how many children threw flowers to them or followed them on patrol, so much so that the soldiers had to learn how to tell them to stay back and go home so they wouldn't get hurt. In my history class we began talking about current events in the Middle East and read an article from a Bernard Shaw (I think that was his name) about the time when American soldiers flew in towards Afghanistan and Iraqis made giant signs on their roofs pointing towards Afghanistan with "This was please" written in English with an arrow underneath. when you actually hear of the positive stories that come out, you realize that you can't really know if you only have one side.
