Women and children are being sold on a global market and I don't see anyone invading Turkey or Thialand to stop it.
Are we so worried about animal rights and anti war protests we don't give a damn about humans? Isn't it time we cared more about international slaves than oil and rats?

i completely agree but unfortunately some people are so selfish they dont seem to care. its about time that people woke up and realised that we're all human, regardless of religion, race etc and we should help each other.

On a serious note I strongly agree with what your saying. It will probably never be eliminated until we evolve beyond a selfish desire to get all we can. It's natural unfortunately, the need to build up a safe stockpile to support yourself in any eventuality, you could call it animal instinct. Until we lose that we will never stop slavery altogether, although we could minimise it by targeting practisers.

Yup, there is a huge trade in women and girls for sex around the world. A lot of it seems to be organised by turks, albanians, romanians etc, as well as thailand, the philipines and cambodia. Also traditional slavery still exists in west africa, and some evidence of it going on in Saudi Arabia. I dont see it stopping soon, particularly in africa, as nobody seems to give a toss what happens there! Look at Darfur!

The slave trade will never stop till the government and normal people take a stand, it is horrible to think of people suffering when we could stop it, we should stand up for normal people more than animals and oil. I wish we could do something for them!!

Let the countries where it is taking place deal with it. We REALLY have problems coming out of our ears in this country. We elect politicians to run this country, not the rest of the world. Stop allowing them to distract you from the shambles they are making of your country.

hopefully soon. i thought we had evolved from all this disgusting trading of lives - it sickens me. i hope something is done about it soon before too many other people get their lives taken away
