Bush this and Bush that. You people look for easy answers and lack patience. You expect things to be perfect in our country and the world? Bush is not the issue here. Has he made mistakes? Sure, he is human. But he is not the reason the way this world is. He did not create terrorism. He did not fly a plane into the WTC. He did not let Osama get away, Clinton did when Osama was captured and we had the chance to take care of him then. Bush has tried and is dealing with conflicts everywhere. Much more than many other presidents. Every one is complaining and poking fun at Bush, but no one has realistic answers or can say they could have done things better or made the world a much safer place. And about the wars going on.... War is war. It sucks and its horrible. But we have been fighting wars for centuries. Some times peace can not be obtained through talking. We can not sit down and talk with countries like Iran, the old Iraq, Syria, North Korea. They continue to cause havic and defiy ...

Somebody asked "what is funniest, laugh out loud book you ever read?". I answer "Koran" and someone else answer "Bible", but yahoo deletes my answer only.

Does security keep all that stuff?
When they take a nice bottle of wine from an average citizen boarding a plane they know its not a bomb.
Do you think they treat it as the threat they are claiming it is and send it to a balistics facility for detonation?

I know they take shampoo, liquid soap, toothpaste, anything gel or liquid. Will they make you throw away your deodorant? What about free sample packets of lotions or shampoos (the kind that come free in magazines)? I always take those with me when I travel. I have a flight tomorrow and am wondering if I can take those two items- deodorant stick and little sample packets.

I know that all kinds of liquids are currently banned form carry-on luggage and must be packed in the checked luggage, but couldn't terrorists use the liquid explosives but put them in the checked baggage?

passengers had to dump into garbage cans various items: shampoos, drinks, toothpaste, spray items,etc....that's all fine, but who's checking to see what's being dumped? Security personnel are not checking contents of dumped items; who's to say that a terrorist isn't throwing the stuff away and never being detected? This seems like a stupid "loop hole" allowing wannabe terrorists the chance to "get away" without detection...Thoughts anyone???

I heard that the english police found chemics in some passengesrs purses that were meant to explode in 10 different airplanes that were going to USA.... there are 21 suspects... thats all the infoprmation i have...

I know we are probaby far far away from going back to old days of not having to show up at the airport 2+ hours in advance to catch our flights. Now I know this beefed up security is to make sure another 9/11 never happens again but has the security gone to far?? Whats your take??
