Not too far at all. I think people are ok with getting there a few hours early to feel safer. I think it is great idea of stepping up security. And I was just reading an answer...you can't ban all carry ons...people have kids. I mean would you wanna fly with a hungry baby? Babies can't eat regular food on a plane, they need formula.

Personally, I don't think so. I'd rather chuck my hand sanitizer or whatever people carry on board, than have a potential disaster where someone turns a 747 into a giant fireball over some heavily populated city.

I think it has. It's gotten ridiculous in my opinion. So, now, you can't even take water on the plane. It's so stupid. If they really want to do something, why don't they jusy ban all carry ons period??? That would make the lines faster and then you wouldn't have that problem to begin with.

I don't think you can ever be too careful when it comes to protecting our loved ones from danger. It does seem extreme at times but, in my opinion, if it saves lives, it is worth the inconvenience.

If my wife or mom is on an aircraft and it DOES NOT crash into the Pentagon, I'd say security is not overdone.

i dont think its good enough. something has to be done or more people are going to be killed. if you take plan A away from terrists that want to die and want to kill others with them, they will come up with another plan B. just be on your toes and be careful.

I'd do anything to make sure that the plane won't blow up with my family in it.
