100% They have a very very tough job to do and always get criticised whichever way they go. Like today there has been a lot of disruption & a lot of inconvenience but if they had known about something big & left it another day or two & then the terrorists struck the police would have been the butt of all sorts of enquiries & ridicule. Likethe last two known incidents where they raided the house in London & spent days but found nothing , because of that the are ridiculed but if they hadn't acted the treatment would have been the same or worse. Our police ,service personnel & other emergency services are the envy of the world & we should recognise the fact instead of continually critiscing

We have the best Police and Armed Forces in the world and always have...only mistake we make is training foreigners so they know our strategies. I also agree that the Brazilian would not have got shot if he had stopped when told too instead of running because he knew he was committing the crime of being an Illegal Immigrant....you can't have it both ways either you are a law abiding citizen of whatever country you choose to live in legally or you are a criminal and must expect to be treated as one especially at a time of a National Outrage as the bombing of the London 7/7 was.

Our police are trigger happy idiots, but British intelligence is among the best, if not actually the best, in the world. It was British intelligence that led to lots of advances in WW2, the USA only provided some manpower.

Being an American cop...yep...I agree wholeheartedly. Then again...that's why you Brits have been with us through thick and thin since 1917. You've proved more than your worth a thousand times over.

The brazilian guy the police accidently shot the other year, wasn't innocent, he was an illegal immigrant, let that be a lesson to other illegals.
