Bush this and Bush that. You people look for easy answers and lack patience. You expect things to be perfect in our country and the world? Bush is not the issue here. Has he made mistakes? Sure, he is human. But he is not the reason the way this world is. He did not create terrorism. He did not fly a plane into the WTC. He did not let Osama get away, Clinton did when Osama was captured and we had the chance to take care of him then. Bush has tried and is dealing with conflicts everywhere. Much more than many other presidents. Every one is complaining and poking fun at Bush, but no one has realistic answers or can say they could have done things better or made the world a much safer place. And about the wars going on.... War is war. It sucks and its horrible. But we have been fighting wars for centuries. Some times peace can not be obtained through talking. We can not sit down and talk with countries like Iran, the old Iraq, Syria, North Korea. They continue to cause havic and defiy ...

the world. Sure we could sit down and talk and try and come to agreements, but do any of you honestly think we should believe everything they say? THey hate us and that is not going to change. They want all of us dead. So hiding behind Bush jokes because you have no answers yourselves just like the liberals just shows your ignorance. No matter who is president they are going to take shots and criticism, but with Bush its been bad. It has been fueled by an war from the liberals who just want power. THey have no answers and when or if they get in the White House next election, things are going to get very very bad. Just wait and see

It could be a lot worse actually. And its going to get worse. Youll see. My point is if Bush is to blame for everything, which he is not - thats just peoples excuse to whine and ***** and blame someone, what would you or anyone else do different. You think if we didnt go into Iraq things would be just great right now? LOL Hell no. Wed have another dictator over there like the one in Iran making threats against us.

Sure 9/11 didnt happen during Clintons watch, that is when they were planning it. Some of those men were already here. We are going after Osama still, but he is being protected and hiden by Pakistan and others. But we are still going after him. And even if we catch him, that does not end things. Its not like 'Oh they caught Osama, lets quit killing Americans and become Jews and Christians'

9/11 didn't happen on Clinton's watch. But Bush seems more interested in promoting Democracy in Iraq than catching the murderer of 3000 Americans. That bothers me.
With supposedly the best intelligence in the world, why has it been 5 years since the attacks and we have no idea where Osama is? Bush could've just as easily sent our military to hunt him down, instead of invading Iraq.
And by you saying that we're still looking for Osama... is that your admission that our intelligence is inept? We have the best intelligence in the world, and we can't find Osama? Please... this administration obviously thinks we have better things to do.
PS- I'm glad to hear that your ideal leader is the one who put us $3 trillion in debt.

It wouldn't. I think that the world is a marvelous place and so do, I suspect, most other folks.
Some people simply enjoy misery. It's actually rather difficult in most cases to find something to be truly miserable about. GWB is a very public figure and is an easy target and scapegoat. He knows that...and it comes with the job.

At the risk of being considered unpatriotic and hateful, I believe it's time to consider some potentially ugly realities:
1. Upon leaving office, George H.W. Bush, our 41st president, became a principal in the Carlyle Group, an oil consulting firm dealing with the largest oil-producing nations. James Baker and other Bush cabinet members became investors in this firm, as did a Saudi Arabian family with the last name of binLaden.
2. His son, George W. Bush, was 'selected' to be our 43rd President by the 'secret society' that rules our country from behind the scenes. Was it just coincidence that the election counts were 'off' in Florida, where G.W.'s brother, Jeb, was Governor? Was it just coincidence that President Bush I had connections on the Supreme Court (many of whom he appointed) who would rule in favor of the Republicans?
3. Immediately following 9-11, several Saudi Arabian families were flown out of the U.S. on government planes.
4. The binLaden family allegedly owns a huge compound outside of Orlando, Florida. Could it be that Osama binLaden was flown into the U.S.A. on 9-11, where he has lived comfortably ever since in his family's Florida mansion?
5. Could the World Trade Center and Pentagon bombings on
9-11 been the work of American power brokers who wanted an excuse to invade Iraq? While the reasons for such an illegal, unconstitutional invasion were lame (George Bush had a personal vendetta against Hussein and Cheney wanted all of that OIL swimming underneath Iraq's sands), the administration lied to the public and to Congress, claiming it was going in to destroy Hussein's arsenal of weapons of mass destruction.
6. This brought on a "war" which means big profits for the U.S. armaments industry, and which needed to boost those profits since there hadn't been any real U.S. military action since Desert Storm.
7. Now the rhetoric is dying down, and Bushites needed a new stimulus. So, how better to create that stimuli than to fabricate a planned hijacking of U.S. airliners from London? That achieved numerous objectives:
a) It proved that George Bush was right: the 'evil empire' still exists and we need to be ever-vigilant against terrorists, no matter at what cost to American taxpayers.
b) It provided fresh fodder for the conservative-biased media, especially the Republican 'shouting heads' like Shawn Hannity, Ann Coulter and evil-mouth Rush Limbaugh. This was what was needed to continue brainwashing dittoheads into believing the GOP line: fight! fight! fight! Kill! Kill! Kill!
c) It cemented Bush's relationship with Tony Blair, which was beginning to show signs of weakening.
d) It might boost Bush's dismal approval ratings, just prior to the mid-term elections 9but not so close that it would arouse suspicion).
e) It temporarily takes American minds off the high cost of gasoline.
Far fetched? Not any more far-fetched than the JFK assassination conspiracies. Not any more far-fetched than the rumors about Marilyn Monroe being murdered by our federal government.
Certainly not any more than those rumors about a Republican President being personally involved in a scandal called Watergate 9oh, wait, that wasn't just a rumor).
Not any more far-fetched than the rumors about all the Clinton friends and associates who died mysterious, untimely deaths.
Not any more far-fetched than a scandal called the Iran-Contra affair (oh wait, that wasn't just a rumor - but a Republican "Teflon" President managed to escape anything from sticking to him as his loyal underlings fell on the chopping block for him).
Why doesn't the "fourth estate" look hard into the possibilities that there might be something more to a story than what the government news release states? Oh, because the press is no longer interested in truth, accuracy, or honesty - only profits.
Thomas Jefferson once said, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants." Our Constitution allows us the right to bear arms against a tyrannical and oppressive government. The Bush administration has turned this country into a police state; it's time to demand that "we the people" take back our nation. -RKO-

Americans hardly expect Bush to be "perfect".
We do, however, expect him to be at the very, very LEAST...competent.
And concerning your statement that "war is war", and that "it sucks"...
...y'think, like, just maybe, we could, like, y'know...STOP...?
Peace. What a concept.
