Does security keep all that stuff?
When they take a nice bottle of wine from an average citizen boarding a plane they know its not a bomb.
Do you think they treat it as the threat they are claiming it is and send it to a balistics facility for detonation?

Ha ha ha! Actually, some things that are comfiscated from airports do go to a place in Alabama called "The Unclaimed Baggage" Store. No joke. If you never claim your luggage after a flight and it's been a certain amount of time (6 weeks or 6 months), it's bought by that store and resold. You can get some good stuff there. I imagine they have millions of comfiscated nail care kits, knives and scissors down there.

They probably keep it. Those stupid idiets just want to get some wine with their chimichangas. Used to work as a pre-board screener back in the day prior to 9-11. I used to get a lot of swiss knives pepper sprays and stuff. So they probably keep it.

That's a good question. I think the security guards keep it. I had a security guard take a lighter from me. We were asking him about why they take them and yadda yadda yadda and then he told us how many lighters he has at home from taking them from people boarding planes. SO, i think they keep the stuff. I need that job!

They really sell it. I ran accross an auction for missing items once and I wish I had saved it. If you contact an airline that has a local presence, you can ask their claim dept. They even sell UNDERWEAR people left in their suitcases!! LOL

i dont know were they take it but if i drank and i work there i would never have to stop to the liquor store after work again.i would stay drunk.the only thing that would get me to work is the thought of getting that next drink.

They treat all as possible bomb threats...I don't believe any body working in those airports would want to take that home
