who thinks USA should stop worrying about illegal inmigrants and pay more attention to terrorism?

Mexicans are here to do hard work like cut grass and pick up tomatoes. Not to blow up bombs!
Why not start worrying about freaking terrorist that hate USA?

I'm not saying "oh yes let everyone come in illegally" we need to stop people from crossing the border but it's impossible to get rid of the millions of illegal inmigrants that are living here now.

1. Illegal immigrants are more than Mexico
2. Terrorism comes from more than the Middle East
3. 1 & 2 show how both terrorism and illegal immigration are linked. if we don't watch the flow of new people closely, one or more could be the next terrorist leader in our midst.
4. Not all illegal immigrants are here to work hard and cut grass. Some in fact, are doctors.
5. Did you hear about the tunnel from Mexico to Nevada? Do you think only workers came through? Or are you willing to believe drugs and bombs could've too?
6. Go to Mexico, many of them hate the USA as much as those in the Middle East, France, Germany, Bosnia.... heck, even the US!
7. Our foreign policies cannot be one-dimensional. On top of immigration and terrorism, we need to worry about strained diplomatic ties and world health relief........... worrying about one or the other is going to make the situation worse in the overlooked areas........ we need to balance our time.

I agree with you on some level. I think that immigration is not as important as the threat of terroism at the moment. However, I believe that if illegal immigrants want to enter the U.S. they should do it the appropriate way and apply for citizenship. Not doing so hurts the economy in vas ways. They do alot of work that many of us believe is beneath us.....trust me I've observed it for myself. On the same token though they turn right around and give birth to kids here who are actually citizens when they aren't themselves. As a result they start doing things like drawing unemployment, using welfare, and food stamps to support and maintain there family when technically they don't have a right to it because they're not citizens and our people our citizens get less then they normally would because the Mexicans are draining it. As far as the war on terroism is concerned you're absoulutely correct we need to focus all of our attention on it. However, I don't believe that we're making much progress after 3.5 years of war. Those middle easterners will never change and we shouldn't risk our asses to try to make it better for them. How can you change people that are willing to die for their cause. I don't know if you've read or heard lately but now other coutries (Israel and Lebanon) are fighting and if it keeps up we're going to have a world war and my main concern is who's going to be on our side. We're a big threat to everyone because we're the most powerful. I just don't think it's smart the way that we jump in and stir the pot up with everyone. If we're not careful we're gonna be in big trouble with no allies and eventually fighting the war on our own soil. So what we need to do is bring our troops home and start safeguarding our own shores, protecting our own soil, and keep our planes from falling out of the sky or being flown directly into our taller buildings.

Ok let's think. The illegal immigrants are definately not all here to work. When San Diego put up a fence its crime rate dropped 53%. Also in all those thousands of immigrants if just one was a terrorist it would have something to do with terrorism.
