Me and my friend are at college full time doing a HND to better ourselves etc.
She has food to buy, rent to pay and its hard 2 get a job when ur at college full time and i have a daughter to support, food to buy,christmas etc the usual.
Is it fair that when our fridges are bare, my brother who is on job seekers allowance (he gets more money than us) sitting about not even attempting to get a job announces that he has plenty of food in his freezer probably too much and he gets 'paid' again on friday????

People have been quick to jump and accuse iran of trying to develop a bomb when they said they werent.

We were going to be duped into another Iraq cos of the heightened media speculation.

LINCOLN PARK, Mich. -- A 21-year-old Lincoln Park father was arraigned Monday on charges that he sexually assaulted and murdered his 8-day-old daughter.

During the hearing, Christopher Richardson vehemently denied that he committed the acts, repeating, "I didn't do this" to the judge and his family.

He asked the judge if he could "give blood or something to prove that I didn't do this, man."

Earlier Monday, Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy held a news conference to give details on what Richardson is accused of doing to his infant daughter, Neveah Richardson.

Richardson had been charged with domestic violence in the beating of his wife. Added to that charge Monday afternoon was murder, sexual assault and criminal sexual conduct against his baby.

Neveah had died as a result of an anal intrusion that caused "massive internal bleeding and sepsis" (infected blood), Worthy said in the news conference.

At his arraignment, Richardson continuously denied this.

I've missed the newsreports and have read very briefly about any of it, but can someone explain to me how it is that the US has come to that conclusion precisely now? Is it from some particular reports? And how come they didn't know this earlier, after all it was four years ago that they stopped. And the US had kept on insisting otherwise until two days ago.

My question is regarding the recent news regarding the recent anger expressed by the people in Kabul over the gifts of soccer balls containing Allah written on them.

Whether the gift of soccer balls was given with the best of intentions or not, the fact that such a big time snafu would be committed, shows that there are still some pretty huge misunderstandings between the two cultures.

I thought that the US had Muslim advisors to prevent such incidents from occurring? Are American troops in need of more Muslim advisors, or is this even a problem that can be avoided in the future by simply increasing the number of Muslim advisors?

Vice President Cheney was indicted by a federal Grand Jury for war crimes it is public record. Why is there not more of a stink being raised about it. Everyone seems to assume he has or has not. So I put it to you: six weeks ago, President Bush said that World War III was a real possibility if Iran developed nuclear weapons.

This National Intelligence Estimate was published on December first. Did the White House have some knowledge of the report? If so, when? And if the White House was aware of these new facts, has the President misled or lied to the American people?
