Ummm... Freya? They DO have wars! The difference is they are only "tribal"-sized conflicts, between small bands. They don't have any groups bigger than that.
They have cannibalism, rape, child stealing, child killing, strongmen that lead the groups, prostitution, bribery, and even capitalists who grab a resource like food or water and extort other things from other chimps who want it.
All the evils of humanity.
They don't pay taxes, though.
Hey! Maybe that means they ARE smarter.

-Oops! I was wrong! According to something I just read about bonobo chimps, our nearest living relative, the leaders extort extra food and sex from the others. They DO pay taxes!

-Well, bonobos are a different species, "pygmy chimps." Nothing in the article about regular chimps paying taxes. So I guess they really are smarter!

Yes, it was a test and report from Japanese scientific study and analysis which could only prove that the Chimps are right and fast in identifying the objects against the numerals to correspond as trained!
But we must accept the fact that as we human have gone so low to Chimps level,no doubt they are the right compatriots to compete!

Yes, on the Chinese screen test, using numbers.
They were amazing!!! Mind you they got a peanut if they were correct.
Another thing which proves they are smarter than we are, they don't have wars!
Thanks red............for letting me know they have "wars", I thought chimps were different from say, Gorillas & were the gentle breed.

Smarter than the majority, I think. They don't read celebrity gossip magazines, drink and drive or dream up bizarre religions to follow. They live in the present (presumably), without killing and dying for an imaginary afterlife. Most impressively, they don't feel the need to invest millions of dollars in wrinkle-fighting creams, perfumes or hair removal products. (Why would they waste valuable cerebral resources on vanity like we do?)

Pity we don't feed our dumb kids peanuts it might improve their brain power. Beaten by a few monkeys !!! I saw the program and these monkeys were truly amazing.
