Saying that it is part of the British culture to leave our children alone at night while we go off to the pub to get plastered. Everything that this man says is reported all over the world and I am outraged that people of other cultures are being given this totally erroneous and terrible impression of British culture. He knows as a media consultant that this statement will travel like wildfire to all the nations of the world. How dare he tar us all with the same brush as the McCanns by suggesting that it is part of our culture to neglect and abandon our children. I posted this question last night but it mysteriously didn't show up in currant events. My question is, Are you as outraged as me? and should he be made to retract his statement and apologise?

Are bipasha Basu's massive assets synthetic?
A Plastic surgeon of Mumbai has gone on record that last year Bips had her bust enhanced by 3 inches through his surgical skills. She has , however not paid his Bill so far despite reminders.
What is your take on this gory tale ?
Does the eminent bosom of Bips appear to have increased by 3 inches of late ?Will the frenzy of her ( or rather, their ) fans dilute any on reading about these unflattering details?Should the surgeon thus betray the confidence of his client , by ruining her image, as a revenge of payment default ? Will other needy actresses approach him hereafter? Was the Tabloid right in highlighting these low-lights about a sexy film star?

Did you feel the same way when Katrina destroyed the homes of poor people?

Do you think the homes in the Lower 9th Ward should be rebuilt? Reclaiming the land helped create the conditions that allowed Katrina to maintain strength. There were fewer mangrove trees to slow the storm and absorb its energy before reaching the city.

Malibu is also susceptable to the wrath of nature. There are often landslides and brushfires. Should those homes be rebuilt too?

If you were happy, why do you maintain this double standard?

Nazism is a form of secular terrorism of the state and it is anti - semitic , therefore anti - Arabic as well as anti - Jewish.
On the other hand Islamic terrorism is a form of a religious fanatical terrorism that hates everyone that is "infidel" therefore, Christians, Europians etc..
But they both hate USA with a passion. In that hypothetical situation would they help each other against America ?

News Item this a.m: -

California assesses fires damage

'Four burned bodies found in the path of California's fierce wildfires raised the death toll to at least 12 people, even as firefighters won the upper hand and officials turned on Friday toward assessing the damage.
Though more than 20 fires raged across Southern California into a sixth day, some 8,000 firefighters had brought most of them under control and no more homes were in imminent danger.
Some lost everything to the flames but most of the 500,000 people forced to flee in California's largest evacuation were expected to be back in their homes by the weekend.'

Remembering that not all people in that area are rich and so could not afford to move away it is so easy to be so resentful you don't see the overall picture isn't it?
