The "Arnold..."- looks like He's on top of the Situation... -& Bush looks like he's "going along for the ride..." If I were from a Country like- say, "Djbouti"- & I didn't know who was which, -I'd say our President Arnold- looked like a fine "Leader...", while Bush looked like a local "flunky..." But, what do I know..? -I'm from Djbouti ! :)

No, the President should not be compared to Katrina. They governor and the President are doing the best that they can. It isn't, thus far, the responsibility of the government to make people live, or not live in certain areas, nor how they will set up the landscaping for best fire protection. Personal responsibility is the situation here. Those people affected made choices that cost them their homes. It is NOT the place of the government to bail them out, but the government is doing what it can to help them, out of mercy, at least to some degree. The government should not be in control, of how people live, or, within reason, where they live. If a person CHOOSES to have a lot of flammable material around their home, then they get what they set themselves up for. People need to be held accountable for what they do. If I had my way, do something dumb,, then your insurance is canceled and no support will be coming for your loss. Obey reasonable guide lines for such things as fire safety, then if you still have a loss, it would be covered.
