Or do you just want a reason to be upset? CLEARLY the troops have no power in this. How would it be possible for THEM to be the terrorists? They are just doing their jobs.

I was recently bit by ants & a mosquito. Even after showering they were still itching & wouldnt stop til I finally fell asleep. What is it that makes us itch soo bad? In it he says:

"Obviously with Madeleine still not back we are very disappointed. I wouldn't go so far as to say frustrated, but we are disappointed," he said. "We hope the authorities are going to explore more avenues and focus the resources very much on sightings and other information."

So if he's disappointed and wants the authorities to examine sightings more closely, then why dont they actually USE some of the money the public have donated and hire a private detective who can chase up leads such as that in Morocco.

Its all very well to say they are disappointed and they hope the focus is more about sightings, but if they dont believe the police are doing a stellar job, then why not hire PI's to help chase up leads as they happen and not wait for days for the police to get round to it?

They sit there throwing stones, but wont actually use the fund money as it was intended instead they'll quite happily use it to fund their entourage instead of looking for Maddy?

Are there any Israelis/Jews here who find the occupation of Palestine as a stin on your image?
I know I will get a mixed response and the majority will state that they are in favour of this.
Howerver,if you were to put youself in their position and being annexed from the world since 1948 you would be a little pissed off.
Suicide bombings ets are barbaric & I wish that on nobody...but with the illegal wall being built in Jerusalem and the constant barraging of all Palestinians desperate times call for desperate measures.

As somebody of Arab descent (Iraq) I recofnise Israel and Palestine as seperate states.
Though if you truly do want peace you first must stop border controls in what is the Palestinians country and ease the predjudice to them...if you were to take the initative the world would see and applaud, if Hamas declined we would all see that the Israeli government did at least "try".

newspapers at all, they would know that every country on this planet has at one time or another committed some kind of wrong or atrocity. We are none of us perfect. The United States of America is no worse than, and a hell of a lot better than many many countries. So, the Americans who blame everything on their own country: Please move elsewhere, adopt another country and bad mouth that one. Approximately 25% of young American muslims say homicide bombings to "defend their religion" are sometimes OK. Yet most of the mainstream media swept that under the rug and instead yammered about the "positive" stuff, like muslims in America are the most mainstream, etc..

Rosie asks fair questions about why we are at war and thats what EVERYONE should be doing instead of believing everything Bush and Conservative Media tell us!

We the people have the QUESTION what our government is doing, it is our duty! The government just cannot do whatever the hell they want!

in the abduction of poor little Madeleine it must be playing on their minds constantly.

Having read several other questions, i am interested on hearing your views on the death penalty. I am from the UK but have been living in france for years, and this is a very 'social' place (rehab for offenders, etc etc). The death penalty here is seen as totally unheard of to mention (bad vibes if you even mention it- probably something to do with the guillotine i dunno) but i wondered if on the whole the British public are for this penalty or against it.
morbid subject i know, but i am very interested in the comparison
