I think he is slowly stripping the American people of their freedom in the interest of security. I think he has repeatedly gone beyond the powers of his office to do so, under the battle cry of some distorted view of patriotism. But, in the end it is everyone's fault for letting it happen. I think history will take a deem view on this man.
Benjamin Franklin put it best..
"Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety"

Makes about as much sense as the rhetoric coming from all angles. i.e. Clintonistas think Bush is stupid simply because he's from the south, better yet, Texas while Clinton is from ARKANSAS which is far more deprived. Bushwazi's think Clintonistas are hijacked by socialists aka communists in drag via liberals and the communist manifesto Clintonistas hate not having a monopoly on morality, but claim it based on their omniscience in regards to global warming, macro-economics, and blah blah blah. Bushwazis think Clintonistas are tolerate everything but their rival religous counterparts using their tax dollars as their charity rather than through their own moral efforts. In the end, those that get shiat done are the ones that are focused on what is important and organize efforts to make changes for whats best for America. Then you have democrats who choose to biatch about everything under the sun and protest and chunk rocks at people. In short, I think Bush likes clinton because he can turn a BJ from one of his subordinates into a handshake to fellow democrats, anyone who has that mind control over such useful idiots is an enemy I'd like to keep close.

A diverse group of opinionated people here. Good thing there really is no right answer.
One person, who is most likely a Republican, mentioned the Republicans favorite complaint... Bill Clinton lied about having sexual relations with that woman! SO? What is you point? How many people died, and I am talking literally, when he [Slick Willy] had that extramarital affair? We can dispense with all the "dropping the kids off at the pool" jokes too. There is just no way to compare Clinton's lie to Bush's lie and have Bush come out on top.
Just one opinion from someone who is Neither a Democrat or a Republican.
Ben Franklin also said...
"Perhaps the history of the errors of mankind, all things considered, is more valuable and interesting than that of their discoveries. Truth is uniform and narrow; it constantly exists, and does not seem to require so much an active energy, as a passive aptitude of the soul in order to encounter it. But error is endlessly diversified; it has no reality, but is the pure and simple creation of the mind that invents it. In this field the soul has room enough to expand herself, to display all her boundless faculties, and all her beautiful and interesting extravagancies and absurdities."

He is trying to be a bigger president than he should be. He is playing chess with our man in iraq, just like ever other political person is doing. He got into something that was a lot bigger than expected, and now he really can't pull out yet, because they will just bomb us again over here. He has made a lot of people unhappy with him, and I don't really think its over the fight in Iraq, its everything going on in the United States that he should be fixing than spending billions of dollars on a lost cost. I give him credit he is trying to keep everything going, but how do you try keeping things going if there is so many political people that are against you, and won't even work together!

In my opinion, he uses the excuse too much
about fighting terriosim abroad so it won't come
into the united states. Billions of dollars are being
spent abroad instead of at home and sorry to say
but we could be struck again, because of all the
money being spend outside , our inner walls are
not being reinforced enough to keep the attack
from happening. It's just a matter of time and the
american people need to know that.

He has made a humongous mess in our country and the world..damages that will last for decades..I fear him as much as I do the terrorists because he does not have common sense or responsibly...lets religion rule his mind which is a big mistake....obviously he has others telling him what to do because he is not capable of making decisions on his own..

I think he truly means well but is caught between a rock and a hard place right now. I believe 9 times out of 10 in elections when voting it's picking the lesser of two evils.

He seems like a nice enough man. I dont really agree with EVERYTHING he wants to do/has done, but I can say that about alot of people I know - and alot of past presidents as well....
I voted for him twice and would again if the dems threw up another John Kerry.

I think he is trying to do what he thinks is best, but he doesnt seem to realize that his job is to do the will of the American people. He is not the sort of person who should be allowed to rule basically unchecked, which is what he is trying to do.

He is a far better president than that class A PRAT jimmy "the mouth" traitor Carter. and miles better than Bill "I did not have sex with that woman" Clinton.
I voted Bush and I stand by him, he is a man who UNDERSTANDS the true danger this world faces from the facist Islamic thugs out there.
To Michael below
Whilst Bill Clinton was more occupied with getting a ******** terrorists were planning to kill 3,000 americans on HIS WATCH, if he spent more time doing his job instead of getting his rocks off we could then say "oh well its only a lie abotu sex"
Bill Clinton was too busy doing other things than his job end of story, and its totally irelevant WHAT he lied about that is not the issue, blow jobs are fine if you have time for it.
