I just read of another suicide bombing in Iraq...They kill dozens of innocent people and folks just trying to make a living and do their jobs(police included)...What are these insurgents trying to prove? Don't they have a flicker of guilt, killing their neighbors and the children. I read where two Iraqi children were left in a car, after the adults got out and blew it up! Have these people no soul, no respect for life? Are they that ignorant or just uneducated? I don't even see how evil creatures like this can be dealt with rationally.

One of the old news stories back in the early 1960's about a young Militia took on single habded with a machine gun over 3 million invading clones in Utah it was in a tabloid or Hearald News paper I have not been able to find it but it was on Ripleys Believe it or Not.
A couple of more if you have recordings of Ripley's one a young man blown out of a high jack airliner at 70'000 feet without a parachute and slams into Ronald Regans horse at his ranch and live without injury.
Another some spider on Ripleys was film making a disguise of a elphant to wear to remain incognito.

I am agreed with going into the country to remove Saddam from power, though I thought it would have been hella better if we had more support from other countries. But for the life of me I can not understand why we are still there.

Even if we manage to calm the insurgency no matter what we do as soon as we leave everything will flare back up.

To me it seems inevitable and that there are only two outcomes, the US stays in Iraq and it becomes a situation like Israel and Palestine, or we leave and everything collapses for a while until some dictator manages to bring stability to the country.
The insurgents are not going to go away because Iraq is a rallying cry for all those who think against the US in the region. It is as if we stuck our hand in a camp fire and are only trying to keep our hand from catching fire. Dont mind the fact that the only way to be sure of that would be to put out the camp fire. And the only way to put out the camp fire is to use both hands to get a bucket.
