There's no way of telling where a person is from. I've always thought it might be a good idea to have a little flag, or something else next to your avatar, to identify your nationality. I expect that's against the rules though!
I thought this was YA UK, so when I first started using the site, I was surprised when lots of other nationalities were here too.

I live on a Space Ship traveling through Space and Time. I was actually born on this ship as my parents were and those before them and other people as well. We named our space ship "Earth".
