In Germany daylight savings starting today on March 24 to 25 2 am in the morning. On March 11/12 was in US.
Konrad Adenauer didn't do that, in that time he was a chancellor, there was anywhere on the World Daylight savings.

During World War I, German Chancellor Theobald von Bethmann-Holweig imposed Daylight Savings Time, so the German defense plants could have a longer workday, and make more ammunition for the German Army.
