Maybe.... you should study Communism BEFORE making accusations... Our government may be bent, but NO WAY as bent as Communism becomes when it's the ruling power.

Also.. There is already HUGE taxes on fuel.

The reason the road tax system the UK has persists is because the police like it. To obtain a road tax disc it is necessary to have a current MOT certificate so it offers an easy and visible way to help ensure motor vehicles are maintained to minimal standards.

I think the government should wake up. Put more taxes on fuel and do away with road tax. This way, the people who get away without paying road tax,(tax dodgers) need fuel to run their vehicles, so they WILL pay taxes like the rest of us.

The tax ,we pay on petrol, goes,
up by leaps and bounds, every year !

as does the cost of road tax

Increase in licence .... is that not tax

Tolls on certain roads .. " " "

Increase in insurance costs " " "

Increase in maintenance costs .. NOT Tax ?

congestion tax

car park costs

fines for a million different , driving infringements ,

Is surely a tax ,on us poor motorists

Lump them all together !
well that is an idea
but we will find ,
we pay even more that we do now ;

and there will be even more reckoning to be done !!!

They do. Currently it is 48.35 pence per litre. For an average petrol price of 90p, this means, fuel duty and VAT make up 61.75p. Put another way, this is like a 219% tax !!

It's already hugely taxed. Anyway I think the government are right wing fascists not communists.
