That is the power of the veto is it not. Senate just approved. Is there anyway to bring this measure forward despite what power the president has?

Obviously a deadline that isn't met will mean British will use force. Does Tony Blair have the balls to set a deadline with consequences?

Another question is...Will Iran released the captured soldiers without barganing for something. If so, then what will they demand? Dropping the sanctions? Iraq pullout? will they want a fair trial to determine if they did cross in Iran terriroty???

The government lied to us about why we needed to be there yet they keep getting money to stay. With the costs going up and no Bin Laden, alive or dead, shouldn't those that have made billions in government contracts foot the bill for this?

I was listening to a popular call-in talk show on the radio last night, and a guest said that he had inside info that Bush is out of control, drinking Jack Daniels and wreaking havoc around the white house-so much so that Laura is doing all she can to avoid him. What I'd like to know is Who's running the country?

this is a serious question. like O h my G o sh!!!!! Katie Couric is a real journalist, and so are the guys on ABC, and Fox News, and they all covered the Anna Nicole "murder" much more than they have this international incident in Iran. By the way, the media do have standard: if only a 20 year old hot blonde had been kidnapped by the Iranians their would be non-stop coverage of it. This just shows you what the media value...........

i always like to take an impartial view of the news that is presented to me on TV, internet, radio etc simply because the people who 'run the show' want me tsee, read and hear what THEY want me to read thereby concealing a lot of the truth about certain events.

I watched Tony Blair on a BBC interview about the 'crisis' and his unrehearsed interview lacked any passion, determination, genuine care and even any credibility when talking about the captured personnel - to me i felt i couldn't believe a word he was saying.

so from this one could ask many questions about the credibility of the UK's allegations.

so were the navy personnel really trespassing ?

to me the whole affair seems to have been choreographed in some way

what do you all think??

bear in mind we're running out of oil and without oil there'll be little left of what we have around us now. Once oil has run out it'll be a case of all good things must come to an end i guess

So now the insurgents are using children in vehicles to infiltrate military checkpoints, bailing out and leaving the children behind as they detonate the cars. Why is this buried on page 11-15 of major newspapers? How do the apologists digest this tactic? For that matter, how can ANYONE digest this tactic?

Has anyone read this article? Its really good. It makes me feel proud because i'm one of those types of people. I mean, i listen to Iron Maiden and stuff, but i'm doing really good in school also. People think that the types of people that listen to heavy metal are stupid and this article proves them wrong. Tell me what you think.

Hey everyone-
I'm currently writing a research paper about whether the media promotes teen sexuality or not... I've found about a trillion sources that say yes, but I can't seem to find any that think otherwise... Does anyone know of any websites that say the media does NOT promote teen sexuality? There has to be at least one out there, right?
Thanks!

I do. We have the best, sophisticated miltary in the world, and we find a guy who has done next to nothing to us before we can find a guy who killed 3,000 of our own citizens... on our own soil, does this make any sense to anyone?

Im really sick of all the mean poll ads, and pop ups about Britney Spears, and all the negative news stories..
Shes obviously going through a rough patch in her life, and the media is only contributing to her problems...
So lets leave her alone, and pray for her and her family, because about now they just need serenity, professionals to guide her in the right way, and prayers

so lets stop being so mean!!

Is that a healthy situation? How can we get unbiased news if only jews own the news outlets?
Watch ABC and see how many jews are interviewed as "experts" compared to goyim.
