After a great disaster, whether because of terrorism or other causes, you may find that banks will be closed and atm's won't work, and that credit cards and personal checks will not be accepted. How will you buy food, assuming that any is available, during the time before normal conditions return, if they ever do? Most experts recommend an emergency cash fund of $1,000 in small bills, and some gold and silver coins. It is also advisable to keep emergency supplies of food and water, medical supplies, paper products, and any items for special needs of your own, not to mention some means of protecting your famiy and yourself.

I bought some minstrels at the co-op and they were 48p. I'm sure it was not long ago that they cost 35p.
With council tax, train fares, gas and electric prices going beyond inflation as well it really is rip of Britain

I just found out that in order to get your child/children a passport, both parents need to be present.

What if your child's father is hard to get in contact with, or worse, refuses to see his child?

The passport law is, in order to get a child a passport, either both parents are there, or the father must sign a contract (power of attorney) stating that he does not need to be present and have this noterized. What do you think of this?

I suppose most of us would choose 9/11/01 as the worst, but what was the best? Do you remember where you were and who was with you when you heard about it? How did you react?

Please, no name-calling.

I would never have posted this question, it feels racist or prejudice. But I will admit what my prejudices are, NOW.

I have one poster who has made rude comments to me (Brazilian), just assuming that I'm "like, out to get him". When I'm not. Anyhow, I'll get to the point...according to this information (that I have posted) and any of your own experiences or research.. Do you think Brazilians are racist/prejudice or just ignorant? I think Brazil has very little racial tolerance

By taking a special poision injections, following people should be permitted to die, at their own will.
(1) all disabled persons (2) all below poverty line families
(3) the people in jails or prisions (4) long time sick patients
(5) those grand parents living in old age homes
(6) all physically and mentally disabled persons.
In such a way permission to end the life should be given legally
and only under proper supervision. Though it should be given
voluntary and not compulsory.
Present population in India is about 95 crore people.
After such permission it will be around 60 crores, within two years. Thereafter law should be made that family
having more than one child has to pay double taxes.
Looking to all other aspects, presently this is the only way to
demolish poverty in India. Per capita income will be increased 33 percent and there is very long list of benefits. Kindly ignore
religions and culture and all those things.
