I am trying to put together some things for my husband's suprise 30th birthday and I was wanting to make a list of prices of things from 1977. I can't seem to find a website that has that on there.
Any suggestions??

You can usually find birthday cards that have them, I'm not sure where. These usually have prices of gas, bread, and other common items that are used by many people. Also historical things.

If you want to have historical things that happened, use Wikipedia.

Go in a public library and have a look at any paper of that period>>> you can also very often buy a paper of the day the person was born
I was offered that and found it great !!

Google...
Yahoo...

It's really just a matter of searching extensively. Try using the advanced search or type in specifics in your search.

For example:

Gas Prices + 1977

click Search

You can go to the library, they have old newspapers and magazines there and you can look at the ads in them.
