You probably watch too many movies, and really believe they are an accurate depiction of the real world.

The President was never in danger...at that point they (folks in charge of protecting the President) did not know just how many threats were in the air, or where they may strike next. Common sense dictated that he was safer where he was, until they learned more.

In that you spelled America uncapitalilzed and with a "K" per those who usually harbor conspiracy theories, I'll assume you're one who would have applauded cheerfully if the entire Executive branch were to be wiped out. You need only go to the State Department and tell them this, and they will send you to the Communist State of your choice.

They probably did not whisk him away because he was in on it and knew his safety was not in jepordy.
Or maybe his people are tired of working for such a stupid man that they did not care about his safety.
