I guess Man vs. Man is the closest one. You have a bunch of guys on one team, a bunch of guys on another, and both groups are trying to win the game.

Personally, I think the most important conflict is how the Super Bowl and football nationwide has lost its real value and that watching a game is the equivalent of watching a fight in the Colusseum during the Roman Empire. Marketing today is targeted towards having the masses believe they can all be unique and something special through their individuality. This individuality though results in people believing in a conformist cosmopolitan lifestyle where we don't scrutinize our management and development as much as we should for the sake of optimization.

In other words, I think advertising has lead people away from living at their best to living at their most competitive since we're all so naive.

But like I said, the two teams squaring off is really the BASIC conflict of the superbowl. Guys on both sides trying to win a game in order to have fame and fortune. Everyone loves a hero, but even a hero has to be modest.
