and

November 30th will now be the time to turn your clocks back, is this true or a rumor?

Yes, this is true. This is an experiment to see if energy usage can be decreased. If in fact usage is decreased by this change in dates, daylight saving will be permanently changed to March 11 and Nov 30. Have a great day!

It is true, but your dates are a little wrong. DST will begin the second Sunday in March and ending the first Sunday in November. It is part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005. It is geared to help conserve energy as well as giving us more daylight to do things outside.

Don't know. But I wish they would leave time alone and completely do away with Daylight Savings Time.
If people want more daylight, they can get up earlier. Why force everyone onto a different time schedule?
