If you look at the number of Americans killed by terrorists in the past 10 years, compared to the number killed in all other preventable ways, you will see that a lot of Americans die but a tiny fraction result from terrorism. If you look at the amount of time and money spent combating all the other ways Americans die vs the War on Terror, you have to wonder if terrorists do something besides kill people. Isn't death pretty much the same regardless of the cause? Whether killed by a drunk driver, or shot during a bank robbery, or murdered by a jealous ex-lover, or blown up by a suicide bomber, don't you end up with the same result? So why does our government obsess over one while virtually ignoring all the others? Especially since the only way terrorism works is when the victims consistently allow themselves to be terrified by the very thought?

cnn to know their news why dont they see the other channels like aljazera international to know the real truth and to make their own decissions ,not to be controlled by a channel cuz if u wanna know the truth you should do like the courts not to let one channel (iam not talking about cnn only cnn and bbc and abc and ....... they all got the same source)you should see from another source just try to see the aljazera international and discover the things and truths that you were away from because of these channels and see how did they controlled you by let you see what they wanna and hiding the truth from the news that you should really hear just try to watch aljazera iam not saying that they always say the truth they dont have anyone controlls them so they say the truth without looking at the results their objective just to transfer the real truth news cuz this channel doesnt need any money they got money more that any other channel,the proof is see the other channels manny comercials

WASHINGTON (AFP) - US President George W. Bush said that Saddam Hussein's execution should have occurred "in a more dignified way" and called on Iraq to fully investigate what happened during the hanging...
I wish, obviously that the proceedings had gone in a more dignified way, but, nevertheless, he was given justice that thousands of people he killed were not," Bush said after talks with German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder.


"My personal reaction ... is that Saddam Hussein was given a trial that he was unwilling to give the thousands of people he killed," said the president.


"We expect there to be a full investigation of what took place," he stressed.

Republican Senator Sue Collins is reported to be upset that Bush is trying to get away with this, after Bush attached a statement to her postal protection law. Bush's illegal activiy is not what the Republican Senator intended with her postal bill, and she wants to know what Bush is up to and why. Collins responded,

"The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 and our federal criminal rules require prior judicial approval before domestic sealed mail can be searched," she said.

Not to be racist but I think it needs to be said. It just seems that every time I hear about a war the word "Muslims" or "Islam" is mentioned. Examples: Israel vs. Palestinians, Iraq vs. USA, Afganistan vs. USA, Chechnian rebels (muslims) vs. Russia, The Islamic movement vs. Somailia and Etheopia, Darfur, Mogadishu and I'm sure the list continues.
