I thought that too when I first read of the story...but when your the one that's in need I guess you would want people to go the extra mile for you.
From that guy that was stranded in the snow with his family to those mountain climbers.

These people put their own lives in jeopardy.and sometimes it's stupidity but others it just plain freak accident but when you go out on thin ice and you have to be rescued from an ice flow in Michigan you have to pay 500 bucks for the helecopter ride off.

even the largest of fines may not help the situation but I guess that it is worth every penny if your the one rescued.

The cattle that are stranded and starving in Colorado...who pays for that....The answer...we all do...but it's worth every penny.
Why don't the cows come home..hehe
