Yes,he said this, but he was not referring at killing every single Israeli. He was talking about wiping Israel off the map,as a country. He thinks that the creation of Israel was a big mistake and that Israel should not exist anymore...but that the people living in Israel could very well still live there, but in Palestine...as Palestinian citizens...He has absolutely nothing against the Israelis, but he is against Israel,a country that by its existence denies the existence of millions of people...
Here's an interview with him,I don't think you will find what you want, but it's really interesting and it shows that Ahmadinejad it's not a mad man as everyone thinks he is:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14911753/

Perhaps what you have heard and understood about the Iranians is correct. They have had a very bad press in recent years and I suspect much of it is propoganda, a build up to an attack upon them, an excuse or reason for war.
The more we know and understand about another country and its people, the less we have to fear. The propoganda against Iran and its people is aimed at an audience of the ignorant.
In terms of education Iran is way ahead of most western countries with a highly education population and the major source in Iran of BRAINS is in the female population who are passing out of university with flying colours and high honours.
Iran (Persia) is an ancient country with an ancient civilisation and to classify it as a rogue state or any such is quite simply stupid. It is not so. Both the nation and people are clever and their culture highly sophisticated and complex.
The people of Iran enjoy rights as do the people of the West, its just that we only hear of the wrongs.
Anything we hear about Iran coming from a Western source, esp. US, should be taken with a very large pinch of salt. Most of what we hear is generated by hatred rather than an understanding. Do the people making the propoganda speak the languages of the Middle East? In 99 percent of cases, no.
What the Bvsh administration really dislike and fear is the rise and rise of the left in politics around the globe. There is much evidence of this in Latin America and also in the Middle East. My belief is that Bvsh and co. are really fighting a war against left wing politics. Every Muslim I have met in recent years here in London have left wing leanings politically and usually vote Labour.
Geo.Bvsh holds talks with Tony Blair, yet he seems ignorant of the fact that TB is a Socialist and that nearly half the people of UK are also Socialist and indeed that the left of the British Labour Party and Movement entirely supports and endorses Palestine and not Israel.

Like any of today's high profile politicians he talks the talk and walks the walk.
He has to keep a balance between the extremists and moderates in Iran.
It is not what he says for public immersion that we should be looking at , rather his private dealings with the rest of the world.
He is a very clever man and can move Iran on in directions it needs to take, so don't be too surprised that he is not really the demon he is often made out to be.
The main cause for worry is the Nuclear Power Issue. Iran sits happily in the middle of an earthquake zone. Think the total destruction of the city in the south of Iran other year. Where the heck could they safely keep spent fuel rods?

You don't have to hear the Iranian President about his views on Israel. He is so parnoid about Israel that he has refuted even the history. Were you there to witness the Jews' massacare by Hitler - no? But still, you believe in the written history? So why you want a proof of what the crazy Iranian President says in his different speeches? Earlier we had Gaddafi, then Saddam and now this crazy man, who would go to any length to destroy Israel, even if it means destabilising the region.

Check http://english.aljazeera.net/news/archive/archive?ArchiveId=15816 .
The Iranian dictator said it, and he was quoting the previous dictator.
"As the Imam said, Israel must be wiped off the map," said Ahmadinejad, referring to Iran's revolutionary leader Ayat Allah Khomeini.
His comments were the first time in years that such a high-ranking Iranian official has called for Israel's eradication, even though such slogans are still regularly used at government rallies.

He gives different speeches and says different things at different times. I saw on CNN or CNN Headline News a speech where he did say Israel should be destroyed. Of course, he was speaking another language, Farsi probably, and it was translated.
I believe at his Holocaust conference he said something about how Israel's days are numbered.

I think he said it should be wiped off the map not that he was going to. I think however Israel and not the Americans will attack Iran's neuclear facility in due course. Then the dogs of war will be let loose.

I read an interview he did with a German newspaper.
He seems like a paranoid crazy man to me. Talking about how Iran has "allowed you to have special priviledges". To me thats a threat.... against our Western values. Also loads of rubbish about the holocaust. Scary scary Iran.

It is not important what did he say but what he did against Israel. He did not attack Israel using his missiles as Saddam said and did . He did not help Palastenien people against Israel as Saddam said and did. He is lier .He supported USA during desert storm 91 and during Iraqs invasion 2003.
Believe it or not Iran,Israel and USA have the same hidden agenda in Iraq and Middle East.

He was caught saying this to his people in a speach to them.
This is what Msn and Cnn stated in either Aug or Sept of this year.
