Please only valid intelligent thoughtful answers no slogans or sound bites. And dont try to say we are safer from terrorism. Thats not something anyone can judge one way or the other. For instance, 4000 less cops and firemen work in NYC then did on 9/11 because of FEDERAL budget cuts, they are our first line of defense and our first response to terrorism. Reports from our own non partisan collective intelligence agencies (CIA,FBI Secret Service ect ect) say Bushs policy's are having an adverse effect on the fight against terrorism

unleashed when they went to war on Iraq.

And I feel that no matter how ever many bridges they try to mend it will be too little too late for all those innocent people who have died and are still dying. It is now a bridge too far.

I feel sick and utterly ashamed when I watch what is happening, and worse still I know that as a person there is nothing that I can do about it.

What do you feel about the Iraq issue?

I have read an article in the newspaper today that says that all dairy products are going to be increased in price due to the price of animal feed going up.
Well as a dairy farmer, our feed prices have gone up but milk price has just gone down 0.9p a litre. So effectively we are losing £10000 on our current income while we have seen an increase in feed by £3000. The dairy we sell to prices have also have gone down in the chain, so it really hacks me off that the supermarkets increase the price of dairy products and then pass the blame onto us. How do you feel about paying more for the day to day dairy products you use just so that the big supermarket chains can make an even bigger profit whilst putting the blame for price increases on their suppliers?
Sensible answers please I am in a mood!!!!

Honestly,

We are letting China go foward with creating the world's largest navy.

The Dems. are going to appease N. Korea and Iran until we are attacked.

Russia is not approving Iranian sanctions.

The Pres. of Venesuala is talking junk.

The near damn whole middle east is waging war with "American Imperialism".

Bush is ruining America's foreign policy.

etc!

Lets face it talks will not work, the leader is nuts, and Russia is not approving sanctions...

Therefore, what action should we take on Iran?

-Use Israel to bomb out their capabilities? (like they did with Iraq)
- Have the US bomb
- Invade

What do you think?

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran's President has shrugged off both Security Council demands that it stop developing its enrichment programs and urgings that it cease construction of a heavy water research reactor that produces plutonium waste. Iran insists it wants enrichment only to generate nuclear power and says it needs the Arak research reactor to produce isotopes for medical research and cancer treatment.

Iran, OPEC's second oil producer, expects to record a surplus of 24.4 bln usd in oil income compared to what it had budgeted for the current Iranian year -- from March 2005 to March 2006 -- which was 16.1 bln usds, the Iranian National Oil Company said on Wednesday.

This is basically a true story, a true quandary. I have little proof of what I'm about to describe, but I fully believe it. I have discovered that the father of a very famous adult person has a secret love child, now adult. The father doesn't know of the existence of this illegitimate child. The love child does not know that he or she has a famous sibling. Life hasn't treated me too well in recent years, and so I wonder if I should profit from my knowledge.

I believe that the love child wants to know his or her father. I seem to have various choices. I could forget the whole thing. I could help put the love child in touch with the father. I could tell the (quite local) family of the existence of the love child. I could sell my story to a newspaper. I would consider myself an ethical person, but the money would be nice. The story would probably make the front page of every newspaper in the Western world, such is the stature of the famous person. I would be grateful for any suggestions

Insurance companies issued a warning for all returning verterans in the military. To be on the look out for mental illness and it my coast more in insurance for a verteran due to mental health issues. There is a lot of employers who can't and won't simply hire a veteran. Some of the employers do not want to take the risk and the other side of the coin is that some human resource dept. do not agree with the war. The federal goverment has issued warnings of some veterans coming home and not agree with the federal goverment and becoming militialized with the experence and know how that could cause a problem to the federal agenda. Of coarce they would be considered a terrorist organization. I join the military for my family and my belief system that i trusted in. I was hung out to dry by the military and the citizens back home. My beliefs have changed and i feel we as the people of the United States needs to take are country back. There is alot of veterans coming home that feels this way!

What does UK law say about not paying the TV Licence fee based on a persons opinion on what they see the BBC represents. For example: if you disagree with their political bias and are not interested in watching any BBC channels, or disagree with the way they use the licence funds and you do not want to "participate" or "fund" these activities/programs.
