What does UK law say about not paying the TV Licence fee based on a persons opinion on what they see the BBC represents. For example: if you disagree with their political bias and are not interested in watching any BBC channels, or disagree with the way they use the licence funds and you do not want to "participate" or "fund" these activities/programs.

It is a left wing organisation. It even has the arrogance to admit that it is biased. It also hates America. It is the reporting arm of this left wing government. The other channels are no better, however. Of all the TV channels, it has a duty as a publically funded organisation, to be impartial. It is outrageous that it isn't.

Whilst the licence fund goes largely toward the BBC, your political views are not considered when paying for a TV licence. Otherwise everyone would just say they disagreed and stop paying. Don't worry, I've also noticed the dominance of the colour red in their imagery.

I don't even have a TV aerial, I just use my TV for my DVD player and Gamecube, nothing else, but I have to pay.the licence fee because I have a TV and could if I chose to receive the broadcasts.

Its like disagreeing with the UK's general political direction. If you don't agree with it, you're still stuck here with it. You could move of course, but thats a drastic course of action for most.

You need a TV Licence to receive or record broadcasts, from terrestrial or satellite or cable. It makes no difference if you disagree with any perceived political stance or opinions held by the BBC. It's the law unfortunately, as decided by our 'esteemed' MPs in Parliament

I'm sorry to say you will still have to pay if you have a TV that can pick up BBC channels in the UK or you will be fined.
I am not happy with their bias political reporting on certain topics,

No you do not have to pay.
If you get rid of all the equipment capable of receiving TV, you can have the remainder of your licence refunded for you.
If you judge the BBC only on your perception of its political stance, then you are ignoring most of the BBC's output.
BBC radio 4 is in my opinion, worth the licence fee, but if you want it for nothing you are entitled to listen to it free of charge, as there is no charge for BBC radio.

you will get a 1000 pound fine. The law is last time I looked, you have to pay if you have equipment that is capable of recieving their transmissions,( that includes VCRs cos they have a reciever in them) in your property. Im not sure if they have changed it cos now i suppose you could get rid of your tv and vcr and use your pc, watching tv over the net . if you have got a tv card in your pc make sure can get it out quick and put it in the freezer or something when they come around ( with a warrent)

The BBC does not have a political bias. If you think it does, try Fox News in the USA.
