Let's break this down:
There's really nothing we can do about China, as far as their military is concerned (outsourcing jobs is another matter, however);
No, the Democrats are NOT interested in starting any wars. We're already in one, so the new Congress isn't interested in entering a stand-off with another country;
Russia is it's own country, and doesn't have to listen to anybody else. It'd be nice if they were allied with us all the time, but that isn't going to happen;
Again, there's nothing we can do. Invading or "taking out" the President of Venezuela is not an option. Talking trash about a person in your own country is not a crime, so talking trash about someone in another country certainly isn't;
Yes, it seems that the Middle East is allied against the Western World (although we all know they mean the us), however, this isn't the case. Several Middle Eastern countries are in support of U.S. policies, including Egypt, Jordan, the U.A.E., Yemen, Qatar, and Kuwait. While I HATE their killing of U.S. troops, I must concede that I do understand that they think they're being oppressed by a foreign power;
You're right, the President is ruining our position on the world stage. It'll take decades to rebuild our reputation.

All empires come to an end..perhaps our time is coming shortly.
We should never have attempted to be the worlds policemen in the first place, way back in the 1950's.
The USA has about run it's course as a power.
Our wages have plateaued, industry has moved elsewhere on the planet, and we are now spiraling into the morass of socialism just like France did in the twentieth century.
Politicians are more concerned with keeping constituencies happy, than doing what is right for the country as a whole.
It's time...?

I'm not an expert on foreign policy but I don't think the Democrats are against defense. That's painting the whole issue with the same brush.
As a Democrat I'm against the USA acting as the Worlds Police as though we are the ultimate power.
We're only 1/5 of the worlds population but in my opinion we don't act like it.

Everybody wants to pass judgment on President Bush, but in reality its the people of the United States. Its like the good old question often asked in the service right before going on a low visibility patrol. What does it say on your dog tags for religious preference. Do you really believe that way or is it because you were raised that way. The percentile was like 89% that was the way they were raised and that they don't agree with the religion but didn't know any other belief system. For your answer yes we are falling from the top, even the top dog dies eventually.

I am sorry to tell you that .. but yes.... and its not our country's fault!!!! if you took history .. thoughtout history there hasnt been a single great civilization that lasted..Uk was huge and it shrunk ... Arabs/muslims were huge and they shrunk .. so did teh romans/ greeks etc.... Its just history repeating itself... USA is trying so hard to prolong this by taking control of as much as it can .... occupying forign lands... etc ... pressuring the mideast and stay in control over there. USA was great since teh day it was born... but however we did reach our peek point and its down hill from there. WE werent used to competing with foreing economies .. coz our whole life was based on ( we are the best) and eventually we got lazy ...meanwhile others are developing and trying to reach the top.... Its Hard to believe .. but its true USA isnt as great as it used to be ....
