Please only valid intelligent thoughtful answers no slogans or sound bites. And dont try to say we are safer from terrorism. Thats not something anyone can judge one way or the other. For instance, 4000 less cops and firemen work in NYC then did on 9/11 because of FEDERAL budget cuts, they are our first line of defense and our first response to terrorism. Reports from our own non partisan collective intelligence agencies (CIA,FBI Secret Service ect ect) say Bushs policy's are having an adverse effect on the fight against terrorism

George W. Bush has vastly improved the Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Not knowingly, of course. Jon Stewart does a spot-on W. impression and, though he's basically been running our country into the ground the last 6 years (huge deficit that someone's gotta repay, militant Islamic groups want us all dead, etc.), I know many other Americans and I have had many a chuckle at his expense. So, in that respect, he has improved Comedy Central.

George Bush has carried out a spectacular interest of doing what he grew to become into employed to do. regrettably, none of it grew to become into for the coolest of the rustic or the individuals. the subsequent president, whoever it particularly is, will save in this prepare. As George Wallace as quickly as quipped, "there is no longer a dime's properly worth of distinction between a Democrat and a Republican."

The economy is out of recession (it was headed that way when he was elected).
My middle-class taxes are lower.
Sadaam Hussein is in a cell waiting to be hanged, instead of terrorizing his own people, threatening his neighbors, thumbing his nose at the UN resolutions and shooting at our aircraft.
The moral tone of the nation has improved.
The budget could be balanced if the add-ons, pork barrel and earmarks would come out of the Congressional appropriations bills. The President needs a line-item veto power to deal with this, as Congress is institutionally incapable of doing so. Maybe the new Democrat majority will surprise me, but based on history, I doubt it.

I can't think of one thing except maybe he has made it so bad to be a Bush in politics that I don't think Jeb will ever take a run at the White House. Course, if he ever did all he would have to do is crank out the amount votes he needed to win like he did for his brother.

No, he hasn't done anything. The one (and only thing) is improve voter turnout. Since Democrats now have (will have in January) control of the House and Senate, that was the publics' way of saying, "Mr. President, you suck!"
