pete doherty continues to be the centre of attention and is on our tvs left right and centre. the british media love him.
then there is craig charles, who is set up by his driver, filmed taking hits in the privacy of his own car and is splashed all over the newspapers as some kind of monster.
why do we put up with these double standards?

South Koreans are only across the border from their friens in the north but have tried to build a relationship through talks and negoations while Americans, an ocean away have disbanded talks and threatened to shoot down missile test, which the north agreed to not test if America continued talks with the north. It seems that your (America's ) belief is based completly on false over - hyped media reports given by your government

When the London subway and bus was bombed it recieved Massive media coverage, HOWEVER when the trains in India were bombed yesterday it made SECOND story on the news!

Seriously, why change the name of a city? I know that it has happened before (Constantinople / Istanbul ; Peking / Bejing ; etc.) but what was the rational? Why change the name of a city?! I just don't get it. Somebody help me out here, please.
