You would have to select from the presidents to conform with the history of engraving for our currency. This bill, more than the others, represents the monetary power and solvency of the United States. To select a president worthy of the honor, you would have to unseat Ben, and he was a mighty influence on our emerging nation and a great thinker.

There is a president that looms large in the horizon, love him or hate him. Ronald Reagan probably is most deserving of this honor, as an exemplar of unashamed love for his nation, and the goodness and might that we are capable of demonstrating.

His monetary philosophies were met with ridicule when first introduced. Now, through trial and error, the link between less taxes and more available revenue has been firmly established.
Most respected economists don't talk for long without mentioning Reagan and his revolutionary contribution to our nation's economy.

Having said that, the current antics of our Republican president and congress, who are spending money like hot water and impoverishing our nation at a breathtaking pace, no doubt have Reagan not turning, but spinning in his grave at several thousand r.p.m.'s.
