Star Jones announced on the View Tuesday Morning that she would not be back for the 10th season of the View... it later came out that they did not renew her contract for next year..... I feel so terrible for her because she was one of the original ladies on the show. They still have Elisabeth on & she was not even an original member. Star did go through some life changing moments in her life, a weight loss of over 100 lbs, a huge celebrity wedding. Rosie O'Donell went public saying she thinks Star should tell people how she lost all of her weight, but in my opinion- Star is a grown woman, noone has the right to get angry simply because Star does not wish to reveal exactly how she lost her weight, & for Rosie to make fun of that & blast Star in the media is very tacky & unproffessional. For the View to ask her to co host is a direct hit at Star and I now understand why Star feals hurt & she feels she was fired. I will no longer watch the view at all.

I just read an article on yahoo regarding a new movie about how conflict diamonds (bought in Africa) are financing civil wars. People are concerned that this will hurt the diamond trade. My question is...Don't people already know this? When my husband bought my engagement ring, he made sure it conflict free. How many of you DIDN'T know about this, and now that you do...would you buy a diamond without ensuring it's conflict free?

News in the USA reports that an Israeli soldier was captured by Palestinians and that is why IDF F-16 took out power stations and bridges in Gaza. And now IDF says they "recovered the body". How the hell are we supposed to know this is the real story? USA supports Israel no matter what they do, and AIPAC censors and changes our mainstream news.

basically our daughters heart surgeon has been retrenched from the royal childrens hospital, and a group of people are trying to get him back working at the childrens hospital.

So i am looking for some one in the media industry, i.e. ACA, the news ect, to allow this story to go public.

Hopefully everyone's been paying attention to the recent escalating tensions in Gaza Strip. Today it boiled over.

Is it right for an army to invade a territory of mostly unarmed civilian minus politics to rescure a single soldier?

Before Israel decided unliterally, with the U.S' support for "tough action against terrorists" launch an incursion into Gaza, the Palestinian people had been suffering from sanctions and boiling civil war. With Israel's quick okayed blitz into Southern Rafah after it blew out the electricity for the entire Strip, it is unfair to punish an entire population all because of the actions of a few militants. It was wrong for Hamas to kill two Israeli soldiers and kidnap a third and a settler which they killed earlier today. Yet it is equally wrong for Israel to knock out electricity for an entire territory and threaten invasion, while keeping the impoverish people on the edge. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Someone left a big stinking foot and half long paint peeling dump in my office toilet friday night. They must have had corn on thursday night. I am thinking of getting a sample and taking to the hospital and getting a doa test to find out who it was. I want to know who left the log.
