Hopefully everyone's been paying attention to the recent escalating tensions in Gaza Strip. Today it boiled over.
Is it right for an army to invade a territory of mostly unarmed civilian minus politics to rescure a single soldier?
Before Israel decided unliterally, with the U.S' support for "tough action against terrorists" launch an incursion into Gaza, the Palestinian people had been suffering from sanctions and boiling civil war. With Israel's quick okayed blitz into Southern Rafah after it blew out the electricity for the entire Strip, it is unfair to punish an entire population all because of the actions of a few militants. It was wrong for Hamas to kill two Israeli soldiers and kidnap a third and a settler which they killed earlier today. Yet it is equally wrong for Israel to knock out electricity for an entire territory and threaten invasion, while keeping the impoverish people on the edge. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Action and reaction are equal and opposite. How these two peoples come to an agreement is the most important issue now. As for the collective punishment, it can never work out, it increases people's stubbornness because they know they either humiliate Israel or they will be martyrs

Yes, of course its right for Israel to invade and to even kill many people in retaliation for the kidnapping (and probable brutal murder) of one of its soldiers. This is a test, really, Hamas is testing the waters. They are measuring the response to guage further actions. If Israel shows a weak response, they're in for a lot more of this in the future. If they kick butt now, Hamas will think twice before doing this again. Not saying they wont, but they'll think about it hard before they do.
I don't feel any pity for the so called Palestinians, as you probably guessed by now. They cheer and party everytime an Israeli, or Westener is killed. They support the actions of the suicide/homocide bombers as they kill innocent men, women and children. So you can shove your misleading, one-sided, bleeding heart editiorialized comments about incursions into Gaza against impoverished palestinians, and actions of a few militants. My ***!!!! They all support those few militants, and they all want to see the destruction of Israel, and the death to all Israeli's.
I hope there is hell to pay for what was done there. In the middle east culture, might is right. Maybe someday the West will understand that, because that is the key to why they have been fighting each other for centuries. They only respect might, and they will never quit until Israel does not exist anymore.

There is often no other way to fight it. There is degrees of participation. When we don't report and disagree with the actions of others, we can be considered part of the problem.
Israel's reaction to the killing of a citizen and the kidnapping/abduction of a soldier was the straw that broke the camels back (so to speak). Gaza was returned and there was an implicit expectation that there would be peace efforts. Instead the people of Gaza started launching rockets into Israel. Whether or not the rockets killed anyone is not the issue...they were still launching them...and obviously getting better. Why should Israel have taken this, especially when there was a government that was threatening to run them into the sea.

i do not comprehend what gave you the idea that the Palestinians are being punished. they have been invaded and their authorities is being toppled. it really is a conflict, no longer a police raid. with any success they are going to undergo in ideas this very last month and could comprehend better to opt for a terrorist authorities back, because an same element will ensue back. Israel is via screwing round with those men. in the adventure that they a lot a see yet another rocket in Gaza when they pull out, released or no longer, they are gonna be back. The stakes are too extreme contained in the international anymore to diminish the Jihadis any slack. And...after the way the U.N. has behaved, I doubt that Neither the Israelis or the U.S. is gonna care what they say about it anymore. once some bombs flow off in Europe back...they are going to connect us quick adequate.
