Do you mean to ask "Why is no one TALKING or WORKING for world-wide peace?"

Millions of people do and are!

The problem is that millions of others aren't. If every inhabitant of this planet would renounce violence, the problem would be solved. That's a hard goal to reach.

If two people in a barroom brawl were the only ones committing an act of violence on this planet of 7 billion people, world peace STILL wouldn't exist.

There are people talking about worldwide peace. Look at this from wikipedia.org:
Science for Peace is an organization of mainly Canadian scientists working together to promote peace worldwide. It was co-founded by nobel prize-winning Anatol Rapoport, and by the late Eric Fawcett, former professor at the University of Toronto. It is based in Toronto, Ontario.
The reason not many people are looking into it is because it is basically unacheivable.

all the nations are like a bunch of girls that call themselves best friends. you know that each one is talking about the other behind their back. this is like that, each one has their own views, their own way of living, their own beliefs. i don't think that peace could ever happen.
