I'm looking for someone who has a portable sawmill/lumbermill in Los Angeles county. I have two oak logs about 16" diameter and 12 feet long that I want to cut into boards to make a table. Realize they will have to be seasoned but first I need to cut them. I know there are attachments for chain saws and I may have to do that but first I would like to look for someone with a portable sawmill. Thanks for any help.

I would like to have a terrarium and was wondering what to plant in it. I don't want cactus because I already have two large cactus gardens in the house now. I was considering African Violets. I purchased one today. It's about 12" tall and 10" round with a glass lid. Any other suggestions or tips would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You! :)

Have a small narrow space in my yard that is backed by a privacy fence. Looking to put something in that space and someone recommended daylilies. I have some Oriental lilies already and while beautiful, once they finish blooming, they look awful. The stems start yellowing and all the petals fall off leaving just the ugly stamins. Are daylilies like that too? Would they be too big in a narrow space? It gets full sun. Thanks!

What is the best time of year to take Frangipanni Cuttings (for an Australian Climate, more specifically Western Australia) and should they be dried out first, should something be put on the cutting to promote root growth, when should they be potted, do they need to be in shade for a while, should I use soil or potting mix, should I water them much after potting??
Many Thanks in advance

It has sharply pointed spines on long swordlike fibrous leaves. There are old dried white blooms in the center of the mass and the leaves extend to cover the last 2-3 feet of each main branch. The variety is native to Mojave Desert region. Should I strip leaves from the branch end? Should I deadhead the old wooden bloom stems? Do I need to chop them back from the ends? Is there cause to worry about a branch breaking off? (There are 6 main branches that all arise from one central trunk. Looks like rizome?)
Please help!
