Please help. I have been working the night shift at my place of employment for over a year and I am still not getting a decent nights/day sleep. I have tried blocking the light out with window tint, blinds, curtains, and even foil which I hate because it looks tacky. With being on 12 hour shifts and it being summer it is already light when I come home to go to bed. Any suggestions for a good sleep would be appreciated. How do others deal with this?

A crawl space in my basement has a bunch of old wood piled up in it. I discovered this long after I purchased my house. I am worried that this wood will start rotting, so my plan is to remove it. Underneath the wood is dirt, and I know that it is best to cover this in some manner, to seal it. Is there a simple way to do this without hiring outside help? (I am willing to work hard and ask a few friends to help if necessary)

For a "pulled together" look, should it continue the color of the duvet or blanket or the color of the sheets? Or can it be a completely different color?

I have chocolate colored slipcovers on my couches, with spice color pillows to match the hallway walls. The wall color in the living room is sort of a nutral tan. What color should I coordinate for the curtains?

My fence was damaged in the process. I could never change my fence since doing so would cause all his dirt to fall in my yard. The deck is cement and has steps leading up to it. It is at the rear of the yard not attached to his house. It is high and if people use it they will look right into my yard therefore robbing me of my privacy. The owner who built home now has it up for sale. He just built it and never moved in. What can I do?

The tarnish is a smoky pink color on top of black, but not rust. I scrubbed a little of it off and it was silver underneath- With a lumpy (ish)apprearance- . At first I thought it was cast iron but it wouldnt be silver if it was. So my next guess is steel as it was purchased in the west midlands of the UK. Then I thought it might be pewter...I want to clean it with out damaging it and I dont know the first thing about metal identification.. any help would be much appreciated!
