My newly engaged fiance and I both work full time, and I am still expected to do the majority of the house stuff. Can anyone help me balance a full time job, which I want to work, and cooking, cleaning, and all of that? my mothe rin law suggests making food ahead of time on sunday, then freezing.

I have some books, like a few of my high school books that I "borrowed" and just never got returned, then I have some then I have some of my cousins old college books, like human resources, experiments psychology, business math, then I have a kids world atlas, also something called the young students Learning library, but its only the first 3 books I think out of 20 or 30. So should I just toss this crap, because I'm never going to read or use it?

I was hired as a nanny, and believe I am being taken advantage of. I vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, make beds, clean bathrooms, clean mirrors, dishes, clean counters, clean table, occasionally laundry. And they get angry when I don't pick up their dirty tissues off the floor.

In the underarm of a few of my husbands work shirts there is a stiff white stain that I can not get out. I have tried soaking it in water (hot and cold), letting it sit in soap overnight, and different kinds of soap (everything I have in my house). Unfortnatly I can't throw away any of these shirts because they are part of his uniform. Any ideas?

I'd like it ironed the professional way without sending it out to the laudromat. It took me close to an hour to iron a set of bedding linens. How can I cut down the time?

I have white linoleum and it gets dirty everyday, but I have a 4 month old and a busy life and I don't always have time to mop everyday.

Do you know of any good products to make my life easier? I have tried Swiffer and it sux. I looked at the Hoover products, but the reviews online weren't very good. I have also seen the Scooba from iRobot, but right now it is not in my budget.

Thanks for your suggestions!

I need a dishwasher, and am considering buying a used one. Lots of people in my area do fancy kitchen remodels and sell their old appliances.

What should I look for when buying a used dishwasher? I would only get something at most two or three years old, what should I especially look for to make sure it's not a lemon?

Its on the outside of the shower doors where the rubber seal goes around the frame. Its also around the sliding track that holds the doors. I've tried the bleach/water trick and it didn't even do anything. I even tried brushing it with a stiff brush and no luck. Is there a solution that works on this stuff?

I have mold/mildew issues in my home (I'm currently working on air circulation and moisture remedies) and have had several pairs of shoes "infested." I have read that I can possibly get rid of the fungi by closing the shoes in an airtight container with paradichlorobenzene-paraformaldehyde crystals. Anyone know where can I buy them, maybe online?
