I was hired as a nanny, and believe I am being taken advantage of. I vacuum, mop, sweep, dust, make beds, clean bathrooms, clean mirrors, dishes, clean counters, clean table, occasionally laundry. And they get angry when I don't pick up their dirty tissues off the floor.

A Nanny or a housekeeper??
Nanny is a child's nurse.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nanny

I think you are being taken advantage of if your not making a lot of money!. Here is a Professional description of duties

You should just sit down and ask point blank what is expected of you. You can always find another sitting job. Light housekeeping should be like making beds, tidying, maybe light vacuuming, a few dishes and maybe a load of laundry. Deep house cleaning gets paid much more.

I agree with the others. The mopping and clean bathrooms are the main problem as they are definitely NOT considered part of light housekeeping (however, the tissues on the floor would be, even though that is a nasty habit).
