I have some books, like a few of my high school books that I "borrowed" and just never got returned, then I have some then I have some of my cousins old college books, like human resources, experiments psychology, business math, then I have a kids world atlas, also something called the young students Learning library, but its only the first 3 books I think out of 20 or 30. So should I just toss this crap, because I'm never going to read or use it?

DONATE!!!! you should never throw things away that someone else might be able to get use out of...

We get our children to sort out there toys every 6 months and what they dont want anymore, we donate to the local hospital or childrens home..

Its like giving something back, and the kids know they are lucky to have what they have, as some children do not have such luck in there lives..

I suggest donating these books to a local Boys & Girls Club.
They might have use for some, and the ones they dont have use for will be disposed of by them. Let them sort the crap out, while doing something good for your local B&G club.

P.S. Look up some of the books that you think might have some $$ value on ebay and amazon.com and see if you could sell them. Good Luck!

The borrowed books should be returned. Schools are very short of books. Just drop the rest off at any thrift store.

I think everyone has answered this question with donate
Don't feel bad if you dump the books I had an old set of the same books and no one would take them(they are still in boxes) Books become out dated so quickly. every one uses a computer for their learning to day.
So if you want to dump be brave and go for it. be your own person and do what you want

Always donate! give away on freecycle.com, at your local library, at goodwill or nursing homes, church libraries, etc. This way you help people and organizations out AND you keep your local landfill free of unnecessary garbage.

Drop it off at goodwill, let them decide. Then if the items are of use to someone they have a chance to use them-the landfill doesn't care how high it gets.
